Adding an aggressive set of wheels and tires to your 2007-2014 Expedition is one of the best ways to overhaul its looks and give it a head-turning appearance. The good news is that a ton of wheels for the 2004-2017 F150s also fit the 2007-2014 F150s, meaning you have almost limitless options for your Expedition build. The bad news is that the Expeditions are a bit more limited when it comes with wheel sizes an offsets than the F150s, meaning you need to be VERY careful about your wheel and tire combination.
Picking out Aggressive Wheels and Capable Tires The only thing that really lets down your 2007-2014 Expedition when it comes to wheels and tires is that no one really makes a lift large enough to clear the same wheel and tire packages that you can squeeze on an F150. Still, the Expeditions do have the classic Ford 6x135mm bolt pattern, which means basically any F150 wheel will potentially bolt on, and if you're willing to trim a bit, there's no reason you can't fit up to a 34" tire on an Expedition with a leveling kit. We purposely went as big as we though we could get away with on our 2012 Expedition 5.4L Project Truck by grabbing a set of 18x9" Fuel Anza wheels with a 01mm offset wrapped up in 295/70R18 Nitto Ridge Grappler Hybrid Tires.
The Fuel Anzas looked great on our Expedition, and their Gunmetal powder coat came close to matching our Expedition's paint. The Nitto Ridge Grapplers did terrific both on and off the road, which a very smooth and quiet street ride given their size and they were able to rip through most of the terrain and trails we encountered without too much fuss.
