The last thing you want to do is put inferior LED bulbs in your expensive GT500 so we've put together a new 2007-2014 Shelby GT500 Lighting Upgrades Section to help you add a more modern look to your Shelby that will make it stand out from any others. We jumped at the chance to outfit our newly acquired 2008 Shelby GT500 5.4L Project Car with a set of Diode Dynamics upgraded XML2 Replacement LED bulbs and the difference from stock is night and day. Literally, they create bright and crisp beams with 1420 Lumens that light up the night like it's day time.
While the LED Fog Light replacements are an inexpensive and great way to go, we also have the front of your GT500 covered with a great selection of Fog Light HID Conversion Kits, Bi-Xenon HID Headlight Conversion Kit as well as Front Turn Signal Lights to add a crisp and bright new element to your GT500 to meet any of your needs.
If your GT500 was built from 2010-2014 it came stock with sequential taillight signals. While these look great, they only light up when you activate your right or left turn signal. With Diode Dyanmics' Taillight Sequencer, your Shelby can now have this function when you're using your emergency flashers, brake lights or when you activate your door locks. This is an awesome plug-and-play solution that will definitely turn some heads and separate your Pony from the rest of the pack. Easy to install and relatively inexpensive, the Taillight Sequencer is a must have for any show-quality GT500.
If you have a 2007-2009 GT500, you can still enhance the rear with a set of replacement LED bulbs for a more bright and modern appearance. The LED Rear Turn/Tail Light kit includes (6) powerful bulbs that replace the boring halogen lights that come stock straight from the factory. Diode Dynamics offers these bulbs in 3 different levels of brightness to meet your needs. They've also come up with a great solution to fix the "hyperblink" issue associated with adding LED replacement bulbs. Normally when you install LED bulbs as a replacement, they blink at an unusually high rate. We highly recommend that you upgrade to Diode's inexpensive Universal Hyperblink Fix which is a plug-and-play wiring harness that slows the blinking down to the standard pace.
The 2007-2012 GT500 also gets a boost in the looks department as well as some added safety with Diode Dynamics' LED Backup Light Set. Thanks to our friends at Diode, we were also able to load a set of these high-powered bulbs in our 2008 Shelby GT500 for a much more modern and safe look.
