A performance intercooler improves airflow efficiency going into your Pony's engine while lowering charge air temperatures to provide a nice boost in horsepower and torque over the factory intercooler. Holy crap, the stock intercooler is small
The weakest link and the thing that seriously holds your 2015-2020 Mustang EcoBoost back from making more power and torque is the factory intercooler. The stock intercooler is small, has plastic end tanks, and just can't handle the increased boost pressure and heat generation supplied by even the most basic of OTS or "canned" performance tuning, much less an out-and-out aggressive custom tune.
