Really happy with this subtle addition to the truck. The installation was a breeze and the kit had everything that I needed to complete the task in about 30 minutes. It really is plug and play, especially if you have halogen headlights. I'd definitely recommend this light kit to anyone.

2017 Ford F-250 Lariat Super Duty

The Raptor Style Grill Light Kit was a perfect fit for my 2017 F-250 Lariat Super Duty. Installation took about 15 minutes and did not require any drilling or cutting of wires. The quality design of this kit is apparent in the details... an inline wiring harness allowing easy connection to the truck and the metal frame the lights are installed on are predrilled so that existing body plugs can be used to hold the kit in place. I would buy this kit again and have already recommended it to several people who were impressed by the OEM look it provides.

Ford F350

Very nice product. Easy install. Hardest part was having to remove the drivers side battery to access the blue wire with the brown stripe. I have the LED headlights on my 2017 f350. Color of lights match the truck lights perfectly. They only come on when side marker lites are on.

2017 Ford F350 superduty

I got this after seeing a video on Stage 3 motorsports, and instantly fell in love with them. Nice product, it is a tight fit to get them behind the grill. I had to remove the Drivers headlight as i have the LED headlamps and there was no way i was going to get them into the passenger side. Having the diesel i think it would just be easier to do the drivers side. They work good though and look awesome!

2019 F250 Lariat

This is my second set of these...one for a F150 and now with a 2019 SuperDuty. One that that is missing from the video and instructions is that you must pull the grill off the alignment tabs on either side of the grill. Ended up calling the maker of these lights, Randy from Custom Auto Works. He was great. I used a plastic trim pry tool and presto. Once I figured that out, had it installed in under 10 min. I opted for the brown wire Start/Run wire in the upfitter bundle b/c I have LED lights and didn't want to mess with them. Other than that, super pleased with these.

Very quick and easy install and lights look fantastic. After 4 months the lights went out and it appears the Y harness that comes with that has a problem. Waiting on support to find out how stage III will handle this.

2017 F250 Lariat Ultimate

Great lights, I really like the look. The color of the lights look factory. It took longer to gather the tools and put them away than to do the installation. Very good instructions and the included plugs are excellent quality. I was a little apprehensive about pulling the grill back and watched a couple of videos, but there was really nothing to it. I did buy a cheap set of plastic trim removal tools from O'Reilly's that made pulling the shroud fasteners a snap. I also found it easier to do the work by pulling the battery in order to plug everything in, but since there at two batteries in these trucks that doesn't create any additional issues. Great addition to my truck and I highly recommend this product.

2019 F350 King Ranch

These lights look great and work perfectly. Install was easy till I got to the part where I had to solve into the existing headlight harness. As others have said, the harness is short and the space is very tight even with the battery removed. Using the connector that came with the kit, I couldn’t get a good connection. The wires are tiny and I ended up breaking the wire to the OEM connector. I finally used a telephone line connector from Home Depot and that worked perfectly. There are a couple different connectors (some call them jelly bean connectors) and one was what I needed to repair the break and splice in the kit wire. In the end...it looks like a factory install!

Great light kit, I had some difficulty getting the grill back on. Called customer service and got an immediate reply. I just wasn't pushing the grill back on hard enough, I was afraid on cracking it. Well built lights with factory plugs, love it.

We do not have a version that will tie into the stock fog lights. You would need to perform a custom install regardless of what option you choose.

You might want to check the connector for the parking lights or the quick-tap if you have OEM LED headlights. If it's loose, dirty, or no longer has a clean contact that could be your issue. This particular grille light kit will not fit your truck. Unfortunately, Custom Auto Works does not currently have a kit for your truck, though they will likely have an XL/XLT version here pretty soon.

The product description mentions fitment for trim levels XLT, Lariat, Platinum, Limited etc but it does not mention King Ranch Grills. Will these fit the King Ranch grill? Obviously King Ranch needs the LED version correct? Also, am I reading your answers correctly that when your headlamps are set to automatic these grill lights will turn off when your high beams turn on?

This particular version will fit a King Ranch, since it has Lariat grille. It would need the LED versions. The grille lights are tied into the parking light circuit. I don't believe the parking lights turn off with the high beams on automatic mode, but I could absolutely be wrong about that.

Why will this one not fit platinum? I want a 3 light kit for my platinum, not a 4 light kit.

Due to the design of the Platinum grille, the center light would get blocked by one of the bars, which is why Custom Auto Works went with a four-light kit for the Platinum grilles.

Can the F250 Raptor style grill light kit be wired directly to one of my auxiliary switches rather than to the headlight?

You wouldn't be able to out of the box, since the wiring harness is too short. As long as you're willing to modify and extend the harness, there's no reason why you couldn't.

My Superduty came with halogen headlights, but I replaced the bulbs with LEDs that use a driver between the factory lighting harness and the LED headlight. Will this products harness simply plug in between the factory harness and the driver? I'm not a fan of splicing into factory wires.

The plug-and-play harness hooks into the parking light connector and does not involve your factory headlight bulb wiring at all. The plug-and-play harness is essentially a t-splitter for the parking light wiring.

The plug-and-play harness is essentially just a splitter for the parking light harness that adds a connector that the grille lights then plug directly into.

The version of this Raptor-Style Grille Light Kit for the LEDs ties into the parking light wiring and will only come on if you have your parking lights selected or if your low beams are switch on either manually or with the automatic headlight function.

The lights will work on your Super Duty's automatic headlight setting, however, they will only come on when your low beams come on as part of the automatic setting. They will not stay on all the time. The only way to make them run all the time would be to do some custom wiring and tie them into a constant 12V source.

If your truck does not have LEDs, then it uses halogen bulbs and has the base halogen reflector headlights.

The kit uses a T-tap connectors to hook into your Super Duty's parking light functions, so while it is more of a hassle than the halogen truck's Plug-and-Play harness, it's not overly difficult by any means. Since it hooks into the parking lights, the light kit will only come on when the parking lights are active, which is when you have the headlight knob turned to the parking lights or when the low beams come on (either manually or automatically). They do not have a true DRL function unless you tie them in somewhere else that has constant 12V power. The wiring harness is fairly basic, so you could tie them into an upfitter switch if you're willing to cut off the T-taps and extend the harness.
