2020 F150 EcoBoost Lariat FX4 Build (2021 Giveaway)

Modifying your own truck requires a lot of time, effort, and money. Why not let your friends at Stage 3 Motorsports do it for you? Straight off the lot, the 2020 F150 FX4 Lariat is a lot like your mom’s pot roast: not too fancy but not too plain either. This truck is crazy versatile, so we just knew it would be the perfect canvas for an awesome custom build. Even so, we felt that we could transform this respectable truck into a truly unforgettable beast, and with help from some of our favorite performance parts and accessories manufacturers, it ended up becoming one of our favorite F150 builds. We were sad to see it go, but we know the lucky winner who entered our Giveaway Contest will certainly enjoy this masterpiece of a truck.

With our last giveaway F150 build being very showy, we decided to take a trip on the dark side with Ford’s ever-popular Agate Black Metallic. But despite this sophisticated, pitch-black paint job, our choice exterior accessories did not get blocked out and overshadowed. Our next step was to infuse more power into this truck’s heart: a 3.5L EcoBoost. While the engine itself boasts a peppy performance, Stage 3 wants our contest winner to have more than enough power to handle whatever they will put it through. We at Stage 3 built this truck to be a midnight warrior, whether you’re tackling your favorite trail after dark or just getting away from the city to enjoy some time under the stars. Therefore, it was going to need quite a few foward-facing lighting upgrades to keep up. Fortunately, we are no strangers to lighting up any path this truck sees without compromising on aesthetics. As it comes, Ford specifically designed the 2020 F150 FX4 Lariat for drivers who want to dip their toes into off-roading. However, we at Stage 3 love to push the limits of what’s possible. We took our favorite suspension upgrades and transformed this truck into a true trail-riding beast for seasoned off-roaders.
