Dependable Off-Road Nitto Tread Design

Nitto Ridge Grappler hybrid tires feature a tread pattern that has self cleaning high-void tread lugs for improved traction in mud and snow and also helps to naturally dislodge any rocks or debris that would normally get caught in the treads. They also have step block edges and coupling end points that strengthen the block edge to reduce irregular wear which provides excellent durability and long tread life. Each tire includes a dual sidewall design option that allows you to choose between either a traditional design or much more aggressive look.

I have a 2011 F150 Lariat Limited sitting on 275/45/R22 hankook tires and Foose switch black F158 wheels. The back space is 6.43 on these wheels. My question is what modifications if any do I need to fit these 33x12.5x22 on these wheels. Will they work? Does the truck need leveled or lifted? Will I need spacers? All questions I can’t seem to find the answers to. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

You would need at least a 2.5" leveling kit, and even then you'd likely have rub on the front side of the front wheel well that will require trimming to rectify. Wheel spacers will likely make your rubbing issues worse with a 12.50" wide tire, though you would gain clearance to add a UCA, remote reservoir coilover, or lift kit in the future. If you want to avoid rubbing issues, your much better bet would be a 285/50R22 or possibly a 285/55R22 (though that may rub during turning and articulation).
