Maximizing your F150's acceleration and off-road traction mean you'll need to keep both of your truck's rear wheels churning out power, which is something the factory differentials seem to struggle with in aggressive drag strip and off-road applications. The Eaton Detroit Locker Automatic Locking Rear Differential fixes that little problem by keeping your truck's rear axles locked during straight-line driving while automatically unlocking when turning or cornering. The end result is an enormous improvement in traction for when you jam down the throttle or when you're on a tough off-road trail, all while maintaining good street driving characteristics.

Heavy-Duty Construction with Automatic Locking and Unlocking

Eaton builds each of their Detroit Locker Differentials out of high-quality materials so that it doesn't let you or your F150 down when you need it most. The internal spider, clutch assemblies, and side gears are all built extremely strong to handle the loads placed on the differential during hard acceleration and aggressive off-roading. The differential works by keeping the axles locked until enough differential load is put on its heavy-duty springs, which then compress to allow one side of the axle differential movement from the locked side. Once load is eased out of the turn, the differential re-locks for maximum traction. The Detroit Locker is entirely maintenance-free and doesn't require friction modifiers. The Detroit Locker Automatic Locking Differential installs right in place of the stock differential and is compatible with your F150's stock axle shafts.

For 9.75" Rear Ends: Eaton's Detroit Locker will only fit F150s equipped with a Ford 9.75" rear end with 34-splines. It will not fit 8.8" or Super 8.8" rear ends. Please verify your F150's rear end type before ordering.

Will not fit SVT Raptors: this locker will not fit SVT Raptors, due to the fact that Raptors have 35-spline axles.
