I’m in the process of replacing my shocks on my 2012 Expedition 4x4 and the stock spring perch circumference is too big for the front shock. I have part number 24-197717 for the front. Help please!

The Bilstein 4600 shock part number 24-197717 is the correct part number for your 2012 expedition, and the shock body is designed to work with factory Ford lower spring perch. There's a chance you may have an aftermarket strut installed if the perch is too large to work on the 4600 strut body.

It can probably be done, but it's tough to say how much time, effort, and money you'll need to put into the ordeal and we can't really offer specific guidance, since we haven't tried it.

Unfortunately, Bilstein does not have anything confirmed to fit the 2014 Expeditions as of yet.
