Bought these after leveling my truck to bring the rear back up. Only needed an inch but thought the advertised 1.5 inches would be fine. These raised my truck 3.5 inches in the rear. Not a huge deal I guess, maybe they'll settle some. A little rake doesn't look too bad. Install was easy except the holes in one of the springs were way too close together. I thought deaver springs were supposed to be good. After about 2 hours of messing with it I used my redneck ingenuity to move one of the holes to the right place. All in all I should have just bought blocks for the rear. Maybe you should just buy blocks too. Stage 3 did great. Shipped quick.

I'm giving these a three-star review because they were supposed to be a 1.5 inch lift and it turned out there more like a 4 inch lift. Installation wasn't bad it took me about two hours total.

Very happy. Installed there with Rancho shocks. Raised back of truck like 4 inches. Which is fine because I installed the Rancho 2.75 Coilovers in the front, and still have rake for towing camper. Truck ride a little stiffer now. But I like it

Works great. Nice balance with front level. Paired with Bilstein 5160's in the rear. 5100's and Eibach pro lift coil springs in the front.

Customer Question What is the hole size and distance between the two bolt holes? And what is the width and straightened length of the spring? Thanks

Asked by: Lorenzo Spag - 1/29/2024
Customer Answer You would need to reach out to the manufacturer for specs such as that. These are made by ReadyLift and none of those specs are available on the tech sheet that ReadyLift provides their dealers. These would have the same hole size and distance and width as the factory F150 leaf springs as these are direct drop ins.

Customer Question Have a 2014 raptor. Have geisers for the front. Will these negative affect the raptors rear suspension? Going with deavers eventually. But will likely be a while. Thanks in advance

Asked by: Tom - 6/3/2022
Customer Answer These add-a-leafs will not fit a 2010-2014 Raptor. The Raptors have entirely different rear leaf packs than the standard F150s.

Customer Question I am purchasing the Bilstein 5100 4x4 Suspension Package for my 2014 F-150 RWD. Will the 04-14 ReadyLift Add-A-Lead 1.5" work with those rear shocks considering RWDs have a lower starting height in the rear?

Asked by: Brader - 5/19/2021
Customer Answer As long as you're not planning on adding a rear block, that combination should work.

Customer Question I'm usually pulling a SXS or have a wheeler in the back of my truck. My question is would you go with pro comp 1.5 or the readylift 1.5 add a leaf?

Asked by: Horn hunter - 3/28/2020
Customer Answer Honestly, it doesn't really make a difference. Both kits do exactly the same job and are more or less equivalent material-wise. The ReadyLift kit does tend to be packaged a little better, so you're less likely to lose the longer center pins when your parcel delivery service of choice manages overly manhandle the box.

Customer Question I am purchasing the Bilstein 5100 Suspension Package for my 2013 F-150 4x4. Will the 04-14 ReadyLift Add-A-Lead 1.5" will work with those rear shocks? Thank you!!

Asked by: Ryan - 2/20/2020
Customer Answer This add-a-leaf kit will not work with standard Bilstein 5100s. The rear 5100s are only rated for 1" of total rear lift, and this add-a-leaf kit adds a minimum of 1.5" of rear lift.

Customer Question I have a 2013 ford f150 it does have a factory 1in. Block in the rear and by adding a leaf of 1.5 inches the total height will be 2.5 inch in the rear so,I'm curious what shocks will be good for that 2.5 inches of rear lift

Asked by: Rnez - 12/16/2019
Customer Answer The 2013 F150s with 4WD could come with either a 1.25" or a 1.50" rear block depending on submodel and package. The lift for the add-a-leaf kit is set a 1.5" and the stock shocks on 4WD trucks have their rated ride height baselined on the rear block. In short, you'd only need a shock capable of handling the 1.5" of lift provided by the add-a-leaf kit if you have a 4WD F150. Call us directly at 623-434-5277 for possible options.

Customer Question So i have a 2009 f150 the rear has a 1in block which i believe is,stock the leaf springs are Number of leaves: '3/1, Pack thickness: 2.125", Capacity: 1900 lbs but my rear end still is not very stiff and bounces on speed bumps very uncomfortably and fishtails on highways due to small bumps. Im curious will adding another leaf solve this problem on my truck? Or is it because my,truck is a regular cab and is light in the back. But If so after adding the leaf what shock will be best for the added height. Please help been bothering me for a while

Asked by: Rnez - 10/11/2019
Customer Answer An Add-a-Leaf would likely not help you very much when it comes to controlling bounce and jounce. Your much better bet would be a new set of rear shocks, especially if your truck is still running around with the factory shocks or a basic OES replacement shock. The stock shocks are notoriously bad at keeping the rear end under control, especially after they have more than a few mile on them.

Customer Question I'm doing a 2.5 level kit up front. I want to keep a rake on my truck. Can I do this 1.5" add a leaf and a 2" block? Can you suggest a decent and cheap rear shock to accomodate this setup? Thank you.

Asked by: jim - 5/22/2019
Customer Answer You can, in theory. However, a 2.5" level gets you about dead-level, so a 1.5" add-a-leaf kit alone will give you back a decent amount of rake. Adding a 2" block in conjunction will give you near or even more rake than the factory stance. Your only real shock option if you go with a 2" block and 1.5" add-a-leaf, would be the Halo Lifts Boss Shocks, since they're the only sub-2.5 shock that can handle that much rear ride height.

Customer Question I am really going back and forth on which way to go between blocks and an add-a-leaf. I love the idea of less rear end drop when loaded down or towing but DO NOT want a super stiff ride, especially off-road. Also, I am buying the Fox 2.0 rear shocks which say they can accommodate up to a 1" lift.. is that extra 1/2 inch going to be bad for/damage the shock.. especially off-road?

Asked by: Frank H - 1/3/2019
Customer Answer Add-a-Leaf kits do tend to stiffen up your ride to some extent, though it's hardly unbearable and aftermarket shocks tend to help mitigate the increase in stiffness. Fox only rates their 2.0 shocks for 1" of rear lift, and a better option would be the Halo Lifts Boss 2.0 Rear Shocks which are rated for 2" of lift.

Customer Question Will these add some payload or at least prevent some squat while towing compared to blocks?

Asked by: Perry - 11/20/2018
Customer Answer Yep. This add-a-leaf kit will add some amount of capacity (though ReadyLift doesn't provide an exact number) and will prevent squat much more effectively than blocks. However, you still can't go over your truck's GVWR/GCWR.

Customer Question Looking at getting new rear shocks also. Will I need to get longer shocks after adding a leaf?

Asked by: Adam - 6/13/2018
Customer Answer You wouldn't have to go out of your way to get longer rear shocks, since many aftermarket rear shocks have more travel if not longer lengths. Many stock-replacement rear shocks can handle a 1.5" add-a-leaf kit. You just need to make sure to check the shock specs and make sure that they're rated for at least 1.5" of ride height over stock. Shocks like the Halo Lifts Boss Shocks or ICON 2.0 Aluminum Series are good candidates.

Customer Question I see you guys have 3 add a leafs online: Pro-Comp 1.5" Add a leaf for $139.99 ReadyLift 1.5" add a leaf for $99.99 Auto Spring 1.5" add a leaf for $189.95 Are there any major differences to speak of between the three, other than price? If they all function and perform the same, then the cheapest one seems to be the best option. But, I noticed only the Auto Spring mentions a payload increase. But I would assume they all increase payload. Is that correct? Thanks in advance!

Asked by: David - 6/8/2018
Customer Answer There's not a huge difference in design, function or install of any of those add-a-leaf options. The only real difference is that the Auto Spring Kits tend to be better packaged.
