Extremely Easy Installation and Wiring

Each mirror light has two separate pairs of amber LEDs for both the turn signals and running lights that produce more light and have better reliability and longevity than standard automotive bulbs. The lights are completely waterproof and weatherproof, making them a good upgrade for just about any climate. The lights easily install onto your truck without any drilling, cutting or other modifications, and Recon includes hardware and instructions for both installation and wiring.

Installed quickly and easily. I didn't want something that added attention to the truck but worked well. These fit the bill.

2007 F250 Superduty

I like the way these lights look and are made of good material. My problem was installation. I am not a novice at working with my hands. The installation was more difficult than necessary. The main issue is in how and where the lights connect. You do not have to remove the mirrors from their casing to install the OEM lights. but with these, it is recommended and all because of the design. I have attached a photo to illustrate the issue. The wires with the big plug head require you to remove the glass and then remove the back plate of the mirror. All they had to do was make it like the old one and then it would just plug in. Won't buy these light products again.

2007 F350 Superduty

The light doesn't fit as well as the original, but it works. With no installation instructions except the video on their website it is not easy to install. You have to remove the back of the mirror to make installation a breeze. They do not tell you that. There is a great YouTube video showing you how to do this. Be prepared no matter what you do to not be able to re use your old mirror lights because the tabs break off when you remove them. So.....watch the video on how to remove the back of your mirror and you will avoid alot of confusion. I gave it 3 stars for this reason, and the fact it doesn't look like a factory fit.
