These look great and complete the Tuexdo black perfectly! Now for some reason these were a pain in the butt to install, the wires kept getting jammed behind the tab. This may had something to do with it being 103 degrees out in the Florida heat :D

Lights look great and install took 15 minutes. I do think they could of fit a little better but after a little Black RTV they look to fit better than factory.

Must have! Took about 5 minutes to install and that's from someone who is not good at wiring, it's completely worth the money! I like the stock look so didn't know if I'd like these but with it gives your truck a nice clean look, especially if you put automotive dresser on the mirrors to darken them.

The lights look excellent! Way better than the stock amber lights. Not a whole lot of room for all the extra wires. Be sure to check that lights work before you clip back into place.

Easy install. Took me 15. It took me a little longer due to having to go back and flip the plug and re hook up the wiring. LED’s are polarization sensitive, so if they don’t work right away, just unplug, flip the wire, and reinstall in the same plug. Works great, looks great.

I chose these smoked mirror lamps to replace the dated orange lamps assemblies and dim bulbs. They properly dressed up the truck without the brodozer affect. However, the plug and play harness is both good and bad. It allows you to plug directly into the old sockets but there is not ample room to tuck it all away inside the housing. There was a loose connection in the passenger side terminal, causing an intermittent inop condition as well. I installed spade connectors, correcting both issues. Lastly, they do not snap in place, I had to take approximately 3.5mm of material off the ‘latch’ mechanism on the lamp in order for it to snap firmly into place. They look markedly better, just a bit more work than implied!

Customer Question Can I replace just the light without replacing the whole assembly? These were on a truck I bought and the running light was out, having trouble findin what I need to fix it.

Asked by: Csmumy - 9/11/2017
Customer Answer If these Recon LED Sidemarkers are on your truck and are currently failing, then your only option would be to purchase a new set since their LED boards are built into their housings. Unfortunately, they do not come with replaceable components.

Customer Question Would these fit on my 2013 f150 ?

Asked by: 2013 f150 - 2/25/2014
Customer Answer If your 2013 F150 has the tow mirrors on the higher submodels or as an upgraded option, then yes. If your truck has smaller, standard F150 mirrors, you'll need Recon's F150 Smoked Mirror Markers.
