If you're going for a totally blacked-out or smoked look for your Super Duty's lights or have a ton of dark colored exterior styling components, then the bland amber factory side mirror lights can really start to look like they don't match your style. That's why our friends over at Recon came up with this awesome pair of Smoked LED Side Mirror Lights to fit into a custom theme for your aggressive Super Duty build. This kit comes as a set of (2) Smoked Side Mirror Lenses that are illuminated by powerful white LEDs that retain all of the functionality of your stock mirror lights while producing a much higher light output. Recon's mirror lights are easy, bolt-on replacements for stock and tie right in to your truck's factory wiring, replacing the factory amber lights. This kit is easy to install and makes a great upgrade for safety and looks.

Extremely Easy Installation and Wiring

Each side mirror light comes with a smoked lens that is powered by a strip of (9) white LEDs for both the turn signals and running lights that produce more light and have better reliability and longevity than standard automotive bulbs. The lights are completely waterproof and weatherproof, making them a great upgrade for just about any climate. The lights easily install onto your truck without any drilling, cutting or other modifications, and Recon includes hardware and instructions for both installation and wiring.

2014 Ford F150 FX2

I was slightly worried about the install on these, but after watching a few videos and some easy wiring, they came out awesome. The hardest part is getting your factory mirror off to access the wires. What I eneded up doing was splicing into the green and black wire that feeds into the turn signal with some simple butt splicers and everything works perfect. They finish off my smoked out recon look nicely.

2013 Ford F-150 FX4

Great look and finish! Replacing non functional side markers with these is a must if you black out your truck. FYI Recon gives you generic instructions on how to wire the lights up. I would watch a YouTube video if your not sure what to do.

2013 Ford F-150 Limited

These mirror light upgrades look amazing on my black truck and they have a very cool color that sets you apart from the crowd. I had a shop install them, it took about an hour.. I highly recommend them!

2013 F150

I bought these awhile back in July/Start of August and my driver side light is blinking when the lights are turned on. Also if don’t have the experience to install these. DONT! I had mine installed my a shop in town and they still turned out like this. And it doesn’t help when they don’t even sit right when they’re in. 2/5 stars just for the couple months they looked and how they worked.

2013 Ford F150 XLT

Lights looked good at the beginning. Lights lasted about 4 years (warranty for these is only 2 years) before they completely crapped out. The plastic clips broke off. Would not recommend this product if you are thinking about a long-term solution. Trying the Morimoto XB Amber Front-Facing Mirror Turn Signals next.

are these just the caps or the lightning too? if my truck already has the lights wired in the mirrors do these still work?

These are side mirror lights that drop into the stock "blank" slots or amber reflectors on the mirrors. If your mirrors have the factory rear-facing turn signals, then this kit will still work.
