These seem to be slightly larger thaan oem and the two halves of the mirror dont go together completely without a slight gap

Will these work on a '16 F-150 with factory tow mirrors and OEM LED headlights/taillights/mirror lights or is the wiring different?

According to Recon, these mirror lenses will fit 2015-2020 F150s with OEM tow mirrors.
