New ATS Torque Converter, ATS Flex Plate, Billet Input Shaft, and other High-Quality Components

The biggest weaknesses of the stock 4R100 transmission are its stock torque converter, valve body, and its inability to handle high line pressures. The ATS Stage 4 4R100 comes standard with an ATS designed 5-Stark Viskus clutch drive torque converter that features a billet cover, five lockup clutches, a billet strator, and brazed impeller that all work together to handle enormous levels of horsepower and torque without letting you down. The Stage 4 transmission has a 300M billet input shaft that can handle the immense amount of forces caused by heavy towing applications or aggressive driving with brutal low-end torque. ATS throws in a modified fluid pump that increases line pressure which leads to more consistent shifting and transmission performance. ATS also redesigns the accumulator pistons to provide a more precise shifting feel. The transmission comes with a billet flexplate designed and manufactured by ATS. The Stage 4 transmission is topped off with a deep-dish and finned transmission pan with a magnetic drain plug that's tapped for a temperature probe.
