The baseline factory taillights on the 2015 to 2017 F150s really aren't doing you or your truck many favors, especially if you're going for a unique and aggressive styling theme. That's where ANZO's DRL Outline LED Taillights come in. These awesome, drop-in F150 taillights feature a red DRL outline strip that's combined with a unique design and powerful LEDs that give your aggressive F150 build one of the most wicked looks you'll find. The taillights preserve all the functions of your truck's factory taillights, all while changing up the looks and appearance of your truck in practically no time at all. The clear lens and black housings of these taillights let them fit right in on trucks going for black or murdered-out styling themes to keep your F150 build looking mean.

Features Bright LEDS and a Red DRL Outline Strip

ANZO carefully designed their LED DRL strip taillights to drop right into place of your F150's factory taillights, and includes simply plug-and-play wiring that takes away all of the guesswork. The DRL outline strip is powered by LEDs and functions as a general running light to give your truck the great looks of higher-tier submodel trucks. The interior LEDs feature a split, with the larger section of red LEDs on top functioning as your truck's running lights, turn signals, and hazards. The smaller lower sections have white LEDs and solely function as reverse lights. The LEDs are each extremely bright and feature an extremely long life span and great look that puts your factory bulbs to shame. Each set of lights comes with installation instructions and a 1-year limited warranty from ANZO.

For F150s with Base Taillights Only: these taillights will only fit F150s with base incandescent taillights, and will not F150s with LED taillights or those equipped with Ford's BLIS blind spot system.

ANZO's Warranty: ANZO offers a 1-year limited warranty against manufacturer defects. Customers are responsible for shipping their lights to ANZO for any repairs, and will be responsible for the shipping charge back if the lights are sent in for warranty work outside of their first 30 days. 2016 F150 XLT without blindspot monitoring

Even in the picture you can see the indivdiual bulbs on the light strip. Light output for backing up is terrible. They look bulky and really need fender flares and bigger tires to not look so bad. I will keep them over the stock ones I have but not as happy as I thought I would be.

The tail lights look great. Only suggestion is that they don't line up 100% with the natural curve in the tailgate. There is about a 1/8 difference

2015 F-150

A few issues with the install, when I took out the factory lights both sides had the plastic brackets come off with the lights (the ones that allow the lights to stay secure to the frame without the bolts). That said, its not anzo's fault but if they included extra brackets being how they are plastic and break really easily that would really be awesome. In regards to the anzo lights themselves, they could fit better. I am not sure why it is that the headlights fit perfectly and the taillights have gaps between the frame and light. However I had to press really hard in an upward direction to make the left light gaps even. Seems the molding for these just isn't as spot on as it needs to be. I am happy with them, and the gaps really aren't noticeable to me. You would have to look for them. Functionally these work well and the reverse lights on them are a lot brighter than the factory ones. Overall there are some down sides to these but they look better than the factory ones.

2016 F150

Just installed mine yesterday. I love the look on them. I was worried about the individual led look on the photos and other reviews, but I'm happy to say that they have fixed that and the light strips and continuous and smooth looking. Very happy with them. Only thing I would change is how much they stick out, but I know I'll get used to it.

2015 Ford F150 XL

Took a while to get but worth the wait. These lights look awesome. What you can't really tell in the pictures is that these lights stick out farther than the stock lights making them look bad ass even when they're not lit up. Super easy install. Very happy with my purchase so far.

2017 F150

Bulky protruding light. Does not fit on the body of truck well. There is a gap about 1/4 where the light mounts to the side of truck. Only the led outline lights up 3/4 of the way. The rest of the leds only come on when you brake or turn on the turn signal. Too bad. Would be great if it mounted flush and all leds light up when on. Took them off my truck after I found Raxiom Horizon taillights. I do have anzo headlights which I love. The taillights from anzo however are lame. They need to go back to the Drawing board or call me. I could help them improve the taillights into an awesome looking and functioning product. Oh well. Buyer beware!

2015 Ford F-150 XLT

Install was a breeze. Lights are sharp. My only gripe is that the units aren't flush, they stick out a bit. However, that fact is starting to grow on me as I feel it gives the truck an additional aggressive look. 2 weeks ago I would've rated it a 3, today it's a 4.

Took about fifteen minutes to install. Very easy install. The lights look amazing and I get asked about them a lot. The led outline looks great, especially in the dark. Very happy with the lights.

I purchased these because I think they look better than other aftermarket options. I've had them on about 2 months now and they look really good, but after a rain storm they leaked and now have condensation issues. Overall, I'm disappointed with the quality.

2017 F150 XLT

He said life is great but mine with him gray paint. They are super easy to install. I install them myself. They stick out a little bit further than I was anticipating and they are not as bright as I was expecting they’d be, but they still look great on the truck and I get compliments on them daily.

If your truck is a 2018 Model Year, then these taillights will not fit your truck. If it's a 2017 model year, then these taillights will fit, assuming you do not have OEM LED lighting. These taillights will fit any 2015-2017 F150 that has base incandescent taillights. Most 2017 F150 STXs came with base taillights, but it's something you need to verify before ordering.

Are these street legal?

These taillights are DOT/SAE Approved for street use. However, just about every state, county, city, township, etc. has their own statutes when it comes to vehicle lighting, though generally DOT approval trumps local regulations. Still, if you're concerned at all, you could contact your local DMV/MVD or law enforcement.

As far as seeing each individual LED bulb, was this problem fixed completely to where it is a solid strip like the factory LED tail lights?

ANZO did revise these headlights so that's it's much harder to see the individual LEDs to provide a much more uniform strip. If you're right on top of the light and looking close, you'll be able to see the individual LEDs a bit, but from any distance away from the truck, the LED outlines look very solid and uniform. Do this tailights have a solid led strip, like the headlights do? Or your able to see the led bulbs inside the strip.

In early versions of this taillight, you could very easily see the individual LEDs under the diffusion strip. However, in later versions, the strip is much more solid.

The connectors and wiring are entirely different for the BLIS-equipped trucks, you'd you'd have to do some serious custom wiring to get these taillights to work, and you'd lose the functionality of the BLIS system.

They will not. These taillights will only fit trucks with base taillights without Ford's BLIS system.

They do not. These taillights are not compatible with F150s that came from the factory with Ford's optional BLIS system.
