Volant's F150 EcoBoost cold air intake kit comes with a n open-air element filter to maximize air flow and a high-quality heat shield assembly which gets your F150's EcoBoost V6 a larger volume of charge air at cooler temperatures than stock. Volant's Shielded-Box cold air intake is a drop-in replacement for stock and even comes with two air filter options so that you can find the filter option that best matches your application or maintenance needs.

Complete Intake System with Choice of Air Filter

Volant's Shielded-Box Cold Air Intake Kit was carefully designed and constructed to improve airflow while keeping charge temperatures down. The Shielded-Box intake kit comes with an entirely new air box assembly that offers better heat soak protection and improved airflow over the factory air box. Volant provides you with a choice of two filter types with this intake. Their Pro 5 Filter is a traditional oiled air filter that provides excellent airflow and filtration, but will need recharging every 15,000 miles. Their DryTech air filter uses a dry filter media, and while it doesn't offer the airflow or filtration performance of the Pro 5, it's much easier to clean and doesn't require filter oil. Your choice of filter feeds into a complete set of inlet tubing that connects directly to your F150's turbocharger downtubes. Volant also includes all necessary installation hardware and instructions.
