Keep Your Transmission Running Cooler and Stronger

If you put your truck through long hauls, heavy towing, or weekend trail runs, you already know that heat is the enemy of any automatic transmission. The PPE Heavy-Duty Cast Aluminum Deep Transmission Pan gives your 10-speed the cooling support it needs to stay healthy under pressure. Cast from A356.0-T6 aluminum, this upgraded pan offers 1.75 additional quarts of fluid capacity, which gives the transmission more thermal headroom during tough conditions. The extra fluid circulates through tall external fins that pull heat away from the transmission more efficiently, helping stabilize temperatures during towing, slow crawling, or spirited driving. Inside the pan, PPE includes built-in baffles that spread the fluid across the aluminum surface to maximize heat transfer. Those baffles also reduce sloshing during quick acceleration or off-road angles, which keeps fluid pickup consistent and helps maintain smooth, steady shifts.

Engineered Protection for Long-Term Reliability

PPE designed this pan to do far more than hold extra fluid. The external fins and internal baffles work together as a structural brace that strengthens the entire pan, adding rigidity and better impact resistance for rough terrain or debris strikes. A powerful neodymium magnet is built into the stainless steel drain plug to catch metal particles that naturally shed from gears and clutches over time, keeping them out of the fluid and reducing wear inside the transmission. Precision-cast using permanent steel molds, the pan offers a clean fit, excellent sealing, and compatibility with the factory gasket and filter. A pre-installed 1/8-inch NPT port makes it easy to add a temperature sensor if you want to keep a closer eye on transmission temps. Once installed, you’ll immediately have more confidence in your truck’s ability to handle hard work and long miles. Whether you daily drive, tow heavy loads, or run your truck off-road, this PPE deep pan helps your transmission stay cool, protected, and performing at its best.
