Throwing an 8" to 10" suspension lift on your Super Duty truck is a great way to get a tough new look and get the extra clearance you need to run big, aggressive tires on your rig. However, most baseline lift kits include basic white-body shocks which do decent enough on the street, but can't handle the type of extreme off-roading that your powerful 2008-2016 4WD Super Duty is easily capable of with the right hardware. That right hardware is the ICON 2.0 Aluminum Series Remote Reservoir rear shock for 8" to 10" lift kit systems. ICON's rear shock features a durable, high-performance design that provides your off-road rig with a huge improvement in performance with better rebound and response, longer travel, and greatly reduced fade over even the best white-body shocks on the market. Performance Design for Better Response, Longer Travel, and Reduced Fade

The ICON Remote Reservoir Rear Shock was specially designed by ICON as a high-performance replacement for the basic shocks that come standard with most 8" to 10" Super Duty Suspension Lift Kits. The ICON rear shock is built around a large 2" diameter shock body made from anodized 6063 aluminum which provides excellent heat dissipation. The shock features a linear/digressive piston design and a 5/8" diameter nitro steel rod in a monotube gas-charged design for awesome performance and reliability. The impressive shock comes standard with a remote-mounted oil reservoir that's built with the same 6063 aluminum as the shock body which gives it excellent cooling properties and leads to vastly reduced fade over standard internal reservoir shocks, even under the most extreme and consistent articulation. The reservoir comes with a full mounting bracket and hardware to make installation a breeze. The shock is topped off with a 6061 billet aluminum rod end and polyurethane bushings for its mounts that keep NVH down while reducing deflection.

Super Duty Fitment: 2008-2016 Ford Super Duty F250/F350 with at least 8" to 10" of extra lift in the rear. It will not fit trucks running at factory ride heights.

Each Sold Separately: Each of these shocks are sold individually and a quantity of two will be required for a complete installation.

Insert Note: the shock comes out of the box with an insert that allows them to fit the smaller mounts on the front of 1999-2004 Super Dutys, which will need to be removed before installation on the rear of a 2008-2016 Super Duty. The insert can be taken out easily by hand.
