5 Star's custom tuning provides your 2017-2019 F250 or F350's 6.7L Powerstroke diesel with some of the best bang-for-your-buck power gains on the market in a simple package that can have your truck churning out massive levels of power and improve its shifting. 5 Star's custom tuning adjusts key parameters and tables within your Super Duty's engine computer so that it squeezes out impressive levels of horsepower and torque without the need for any "hard" bolt-on performance parts. The increased power output is combined with 5 Star's revamped transmission shift points and shift pressures to get rid of the noticeable hesitation in the 6.7L's stock tuning while holding gears longer to maximize power for just about any application. You get your choice of up to five 5 Star Custom Tunes as well as Bully Dog's canned performance tunes on your BDX device.

5 Star's tunes turn up your 2017-2019 F250 or F350's 6.7L's power by adjusting its fuel curves,boost pressure, fan control, and a ton of other variables so that your truck makes huge amounts of horsepower and torque. 5 Star's custom tuning even takes into account tire size, drivetrain, and axle ratio so that your F250 or F350 operates perfectly with your choice of tune. 5 Star offers the following tunes for the 2017-2019 6.7L Super Dutys:

5 Star's Tunes:

• Daily/Tow Tune: 40 horsepower 85lb-ft of torque
• Performance Tune: 90 horsepower 180lb-ft of torque. NOT RECOMMENDED FOR TOWING APPLICATIONS
• Transmission Only: factory power with revised shifting

Stage 3's 5 Star Custom Tuning Step-by-Step:
1. Place your order for 5 Star's Custom Tunes.
2. Stage 3 sends you a "blank" tuner without custom tunes.
3. Connect your tuner to your truck and pull its ECU strategy code.
4. Fill out our online tune form with your info.
5. 5 Star creates your tunes, you will be emailed a link to download them.
6. Download 5 Star's tunes to your PC and then load them to your tuner using SCT's Device Updater Software.
7. Load your 5 Star Custom Tune of choice into your truck.
