5 Star's custom tuning provides your 2015-2020 F150's 2.7L EcoBoost V6 with some of the best bang-for-your-buck power gains on the market in a simple, hassle-free package that can have your F150 churning out massive levels of power with drastically improved shifting. 5 Star's custom tuning turns up the boost pressure output of your truck's two turbochargers while adjusting your engine's fuel curves and ignition timing to take full advantage of all the extra air. The end result is a bunch more horsepower and torque that pairs with revised transmission tuning so that your truck drives beautifully in whatever application you have in mind. 5 Star's tuning provides a drastic increase in low-end torque, making your 2.7L feel much more powerful in the low rev ranges than the factory tuning, helping you in both towing and off-road applications. 5 Star's tunes can turn up your 2015-2020 F150 2.7L EcoBoost's boost pressure while adjusting its fuel curves, ignition timing, fan control, and a ton of other variables so that your F150 makes huge amounts of horsepower and torque. 5 Star's custom tuning even takes into account tire size, drivetrain, and axle ratio so that your truck operates perfectly with your choice of tune. 5 Star's custom tunes are available in several variations for 87, 89, 91, or 93 octane gasoline to give you a wide range of tuning options.
The 2.7L EcoBoost's factory tuning leaves plenty on the table for 5 Star to work with and really transform your F150. The baseline power output of 5 Star's test truck at its tires was about 250 horsepower and just over 325lb-ft of torque. With 5 Star's powerful 93 octane Performance tune, that same 2.7L EcoBoost truck put down 310 horsepower and 425lb-ft of peak torque. That's a gain of 60 horsepower and 100lb-ft of torque over stock. Most impressively is that the 30% gain in peak torque took place at 2500rpm, where stock torque sat at a measly 315lb-ft, giving you a big bump in pulling power and off-the-line performance without the turbo lag and hesitation of the factory tune. 5 Star's Performance/Tow tunes also offer awesome improvements in performance with the 93 octane Performance/Tow tune taking peak power to 290 horsepower and 380lb-ft of torque, while the 87 octane Performance/Tow tune chucked down 275 horsepower and just over 360lb-ft of torque. The power gains are paired up with greatly overhauled transmission shift points and shift pressures which take most of the sluggishness out of your 2015-2016 F150 and let you really enjoy its improved power output.

Warranty vs. Non-Warranty Tune Note: there is no difference in function, horsepower, or torque between Warrantied Custom Tunes and Non-Warrantied Custom Tunes. The only difference between the two, whatsoever, is that Warrantied Tunes will have less parameters (i.e. tire size, gear ratio, etc) open to end-user adjustment.
Off-Road Exhaust Systems: 5 Star can no longer provide custom tuning for off-road exhaust systems that delete catalytic converters. 5 Star can only tune for catted exhaust systems. However, 5 Star WILL NOT disable your rear oxygen sensors, which may result in a check engine light.
