The filter was carefully designed to flow more air than the stock disposable filters all while capturing more particulates. Does this need a tune? Will it fit on a larger throttle body ? Can i run a pedal commander with it

This intake kit does not require a tune. The intake will fit with a larger throttle body, however, the boots Banks includes can be a little tight, and you may need to use heat or lube to get them on there. The intake will work fine with a Pedal Commander.

Is this part compatible with the 302 intake manifold that yall sell with the performance packages you have listed. I was looking at a banks or a volant just one that more isolated the filter from heat or anything else that could get under the hood.

It is not. The Boss 302 manifolds require a heavily customized intake in order to fit on the truck, and the Banks intake will not work right out of the box.

Do you know if there have been any horsepower numbers brought up with the banks ram air? I am interested in it just was wanting to see potential gains first.

With just the intake alone, you may see 5-10 peak horsepower at the crankshaft, but an intake alone does not add huge gains to the F150 5.0L's output.
