After buying a new 2016 Ford Mustang GT my main concern is preserving and protecting the car as much as possible. Unfortunately after ordering this product I had to call in to find out why it hadn't shipped after three weeks. The website does not indicate whether the product is on back order, which was the case with my purchase. Despite the back order the customer service members, Noah and Chris, were EXTREMELY helpful! They even sent a representative to go physically into the warehouse to sort this matter out. The moment the product arrived in the warehouse Stage 3 Motor Sports did one day shipping to my residence FOR FREE! The reason I give this product four stars is due to the rear floor mat design. The rear floor mats do not lock into place as well as the front. And there is nothing to safely secure the mats to the floor of the car, causing them to slide. I think if the design extended further under the front seats it may lock into place better. I decided to add black double-sided sticky tape to areas that the mat meets with plastic. I didn't want to apply double sided sticky tape directly to the floor rug of the car and ruin my rug. I'm sure these rear floor mats are not really an issue, especially since most drivers with a Mustang do not anticipate having more than one passenger in the car. The front weathertech floor mats fit very snugly and securely. The Weather Tech floor mats come with little black plastic safety nubs for the drivers side. These nubs help secure the mat down so it will not slide and obstruct the pedals. Another reason I rate this product with four stars is because these safety nubs are supposed to get NAILED into the floor. WHAT?! No way am I nailing into the floor of my brand new car. The instructions have diagrams showing you how to install these nubs, but I also looked on youtube at less than smart men nailing these nubs to the floor of their giant Ram pick up trucks. Yeah, right, like I'm doing that. Without the nails the nubs are still pretty secure. I'm assuming the nails are just there for extra safety and support. It's also a way for Weather Tech to cover their you know what's with liability. Overall this product does EXACTLY what you want! If you or your passenger has an accident your car rugs and floor will be protected! I would HIGHLY recommend only having drinks near the front floor mats. There may be better products out there, but as far as I have researched this is the best option for floor mats.
