This intake bolts on quickly and easily using common tools and includes a SynthaMax Oiled Filter made with individual layers of specialized filtration media that work together to filter out contaminants while still breathing in a larger volume of cooler charge air to your engine than stock to keep it running at its best. AIRAID's patented Roto-Molded Black Plastic Tubing replaces your factory stock unit and gives a much smoother channel (free of obstructions) for a greater amount of cooler charge air to to make it's way to your intake. In order to keep out the heat generated from your engine compartment and to ensure your intake is breathing in the coolest air possible, the walls of the heat shield create a protective box which seals with weatherstripping at the top when your hood is shut.
