AIRAID Intake Instantly Increases Overall Performance

Just in time for the release of the newly redesigned 2015-2017 Mustang GT, our friends at AIRAID have followed suite and released this new version of their Cold Air Intake System to improve on its 5.0L V8 performance. It features a specially designed one-piece roto-molded intake box that draws cool outside air from the factory cold air duct location while having a unique shape that promotes airflow all the way around the filter. The all-new air box design utilizes a lid with a Plexiglass window that adds underhood styling while keeping the filter isolated from hot engine compartment air and allowing you to keep tabs on how the filter is operating or if it needs to be cleaned.

AIRAID's SynthaFlow Dry Blue Filter

The intake features one of AIRAID's specially designed SynthaFlow Dry Blue Air filter protected by a heat shield that gives your 5.0L Coyote V8 a larger amount of charge air at cooler temperatures than your factory air box. The intake improves torque, horsepower, and throttle response without the need for any custom tuning. The intake tube is completely manufactured out of roto-molded plastic making it stronger, more heat resistant, and better looking than more standard plastic designs. The Air Filter is shielded by a metal box with plexiglass viewing window and seals with weather striping when your hood is shut to create a protective barrier from any radiant engine heat to ensure cooler charge air to your intake.
