Please Read!!! Purchased AFE intake, Charge Pipe, 3.5 Exhaust and these intercooler pipes. Over 1 hour install time. If you are doing this without a lift, good luck! FIND A LIFT, and at least 2 people total, 3 is best! Take front wheels off, and be prepared to spend some time on the passenger side pipe. Directions are very lack their of. Remember the routing the stock pipe took (in front/behind/above/below hoses.) The passenger turbo intake tube is right in the way when connecting these tubes! However once installed, it really brings the turbos to life! 5 star performance, 1 star installation ease, and 0 star directions. STAGE 3 RELEASE A INSTALL VIDEO!

The hot side pipes really makes a big difference in power flows much nicer...Install, because these pipes are so much bigger be prepared to do some work and some trimming pain in the butt trying to get them to fit lol...Get a lift thats a must.Once in place make sure you really tighten the clamps down. The pipes are tight around everything in their surroundings...Thank goodness i had some pros do it for me or i could of never done it myself...sure not alone that is lol...Once in place they look good and then go out and enjoy them.

Took less than an hour. Straightforward install. Had to do some trimming of the rubber elbows at the Turbos to remove kinks in hoses. Other than that everything went well. Can't say huge gain in performane as I already had lota of other mods installed.

So starting off if your purchasing these products to make significant power I would recommend searching elsewhere. You can tell a difference but for the price it’s not worth the money. The install was also a little bit of a chore if you have a buddy to assist I recommend that aswell also putting your truck on ramps helped me if your doing it in your driveway. Some reviews said to take the tires off I chose not to for access to the turbos. Other than that the piping seems to be well made out of solid metal material and is definitely a precise fit. As in it comes with prefabricated hanger arms to sit into where the stock piping existed. So with a little patience you can install this upgrade. Not sure if this is a plus or not but once installed you can hear the turbos spool more significantly. Hope my input will assist you in your purchase.

Customer Question WILL THESE PIPES WORK WITH THE MISHIMOTO INTERCOOLER

Asked by: BROWNIE - 9/2/2021
Customer Answer Since the Mishimoto intercooler works with the stock hot-side tubes, the aFe Intercooler Tubes should work just fine with the Mishimoto intercooler.

Customer Question i have the afe stage 2 air intake, i was planning on upgrading the intercooler and then adding afe charge pipe, will these hot side pipes fit with the other 2 afe products in a 2011 f150 ecoboost?

Asked by: Garrett Preato - 12/27/2018
Customer Answer It depends on what intercooler you're going with. However, if you're planning on using an aftermarket intercooler that installs in the factory location, you won't have any problems. If you do go with an intercooler kit that relocates the intercooler, aFe's intercooler pipes will not work.

Customer Question Do you need a tune update with these pipes? I bought them a little after I did my phase 2 install. I have the phase 2 kit with a 91 performance tune.

Asked by: Heriberto - 1/29/2015
Customer Answer They don't strictly require a retune, since they're just improving airflow through one section of the turbo system. However, if you wanted to try to squeeze some more out of your truck, you could run a datalog for a tune revision.

Customer Question Will these tubes work with either the AFE or Vortech intercoolers?

Asked by: Justin - 11/15/2014
Customer Answer These hot-side tubes will work with both the aFe intercooler and Vortech Intercooler, as well as the ATP Intercooler and Wagner Intercooler. Basically, the tubes will fit any intercooler that's a drop-in replacement for stock that reuses the stock intercoolers position in the lower bumper and doesn't require its own tubing.

Customer Question Are these compatible w/ a Full Race intercooler?

Asked by: Anthony - 8/8/2014
Customer Answer According to Full-Race, the pipes won't fit with their intercooler without modifications, due to the fact that the Full-Race kit replaces some of the OEM hot-side tubing with its own hardware.

Customer Question Do you have any performance numbers on this product?? I've been wondering about the hot-side tubes and if anyone had built any to replace factory or if they're even worth the hassle.

Asked by: Ryan Leyshon - 5/22/2014
Customer Answer Outside of aFe's quote of 9hp and 11lb-ft of torque, we do not. We have some on order and are planning on doing installation and testing.
