First, make sure you get a track bar relocation bracket with this kit. You will need it for a proper alignment. Second, this leveling kit is great. The build quality from Bilstein is top notch. The spring steel itself is a larger diameter than the stock springs, and the reservoir shocks make for a much smoother front end ride on the street. I havent taken it off road yet, but I expect to see improvements there as well. Installation took 4 hours in my driveway, and required a little creative jack and jack-stand placement to get the suspension to droop far enough to install the springs. The instructions from Bilstein are clear and easy to follow. Side note- correspondence with Stage 3 motorsports prior to purchase was fast, informative, and helpful. Time to ship was fast, will definitely buy from Stage 3 again in the future.

Customer Question Will a 2024 Super Duty with Tremor package see any increased ride height from this shock & spring combo?

Asked by: LP - 4/14/2025
Customer Answer A Tremor trim Superduty would not see the full lift height on this kit as they already have taller springs from factory.

Customer Question Does this lift the 21 superduty 3" in the front? And if so would it clear 37" tires with minor triming?

Asked by: Ken - 12/12/2021
Customer Answer According to Bilstein, this kit only adds 2" of front leveling to the 2021 Super Dutys. In general, you'll need 4" of lift to clear 37" tires, especially if you're planning on using 37x13.50" tires. Even at 4", you may still need to do some trimming depending on your wheel's offset, width, and backspacing. Your best bet would be to call us directly at 623-434-5277 or email us at [email protected] so we can find a kit that would work best for you.

Customer Question Is this leveling kit intended for use with diesel engines or was it designed around the gas models? Can this kit handle the added weight of a plow occasionally?

Asked by: Ryan - 1/3/2020
Customer Answer This kit was specifically designed around diesel models. If you have a gas truck, we can't guarantee what kind of ride height or ride quality you'd get. This kit can handle a plow, arguably better than the stock suspension, though we have not tried it ourselves.

Customer Question Recently purchased the 2017-2019 F250 & F350 6.7L Bilstein B8 5162 2" Leveling Kit and was wondering if any other blocks/spacers were required for this to be installed correctly? I have seen videos and reviews of the Ready Lift Kit that includes additional spacers for the stabilizers and bumpstops. Have you guys at Stage3 installed this on a 17-19 SD yet? I was hoping to get some help on install. Thanks,

Asked by: Kris Massaro - 3/30/2019
Customer Answer Sway bar brackets and bump stop extensions really aren't that necessary for a 2" leveling kit. They can be nice to have if you're a real stickler for ride quality, but since Bilstein's shocks and springs offer a lot of improvement in both quality and handling, they're not strictly required. The only other thing you might want to consider grabbing is a track bar bracket or an adjustable track bar. Any amount of leveling throws off axle positioning (and the 2017-2019 Super Dutys are especially noticeable, for some reason), and it's something you should consider adding into the mix. Unfortunately, we haven't installed this particular kit on one of our trucks as of yet.
