2010 Ford Raptor
Fit correctly with no interference with anything on the vehicle. Was easy to install per instructions. Fit up is very good and the quality of the product seems to be excellent. I love the sight glass feature. I tend to look at the fluid level more that I expected to because it is so easy to see from the passenger side rear wheel well.

Looks,like I got a previously returned or open box item,no packaging inside,box arrived in pretty bad shape with a bunch of tape all over it,also no screws were found other than just the cover itself.

2013 F150 FX 4
Install was easy, hardest part was removing the old caked on sealant from the factory cover. After everything was cleaned up, the cover was installed with ease. Sight glass is nice to have. Total install time was 40 minutes, and that includes cleaning up the surface from the factory cover. Great product, I would order again. And always Stage 3 was great.

Perfect fit. I used a gel-pro gasket instead of use the silicone that was provided. Installing was easy with the follow along instructions. Very nice product and love the fluid level sight glass. Would definitely buy again!!

Customer Answer Unfortunately this will not clear any aftermarket sway bars due to it being larger.

Customer Answer According to aFe, the mounting bolts have a torque requirement of 11 to 14lb-ft.

Customer Question Does the 2011 Ford Raptor rear differential require the friction modifier fluid? Thanks!

Customer Answer Friction Modifier is only required for clutch-type LSDs. The 2011 Raptors should have come from the factory with an OEM E-Locker, and do not require friction modifier. The only possible exception would be if your truck is using a clutch-type LSD in place of the OEM E-Locker for some reason.

Customer Question I have a 2013 F150 4wd with a Rough Country 6" lift. The AFe instructions says if the truck as been modified or lifted you will have to establish the correct fluid level. How exactly is this done? Thanks for the help!

Customer Answer When you lift a truck, you can throw off your pinion or rear axle angle, which means the sight glass won't sit level and you may need slightly more or slightly less fluid than aFe recommends. Really, all they're saying is you should use the site glass as your guide and not a set amount of fluid.

Customer Answer This cover does not require a gasket or gasket maker for installation. The cover features a built-in seal that does not require an additional gasket.

Customer Question On this page it says this rear diff will NOT fit 2015/16 F150s. But on some of these questions it says it does. I'm confused. I have 2015 F150 Ecoboost 3.31 electronic locking axle. L3. Mine has 12 bolts on the differential. So this would fit mine then? It says above the holes are bigger on 2015/16. That's why I'm confused.

Customer Question I have a 2014 F150 3.5 E/B, supercrew with a 9.75 RE. Will this cover fit / work? What is the total fluid capacity? What's included with the cover, gasket, bolts, etc?

Customer Answer The cover will fit your truck. It has a 5-quart fluid capacity and comes with new bolts. Instead of a gasket, the cover has an o-ring that tucks into a groove built into the cover, which is included with the cover kit. For more details, you can check out aFe's Install Instructions.

Customer Question What is the difference between the aFe differential cover and the covers from G2 and Mag-Hytec? The aFe is more expensive than the other two. Does it have greater oil capacity than the other two? (The owner's manual indicates stock oil capacity to be 5.5 pints.)

Customer Answer They each hold more or less the same amount of fluid. The real difference is that the aFe kit is slightly thicker, has much larger and a higher number of fins, and uses a sight glass level check, instead of a dipstick or plug.
