Like the rest of Rigid's off-road LED lights and light bars, the D2 Off-Road Driving Lights are insanely tough and can take the worst punishment you can throw at them. Each light is individually assembled and tested at Rigid's Arizona headquarters. The lights are made with powder coated cast aluminum housings, thick polycarbonate lenses, and heavy-duty circuits that make them resistant to just about everything and able to handle brutal amounts of damage while continuing to function. The lights are rated for over 50,000 hours of use and come with a surface mount, hardware, wiring harness, and switch.

What are the exact dimensions, mainly width, of the rigid driving lights (part #50231)? I see that you installed them in the lower grill of your F150, but I'm wondering if I can fit them in the lower grill of my raptor on either side of the license plate. Thank you in advance.

The D2s are 3-3/16" wide, 2-15/16" tall, and 3-3/16" deep.

Does this kit come with everything to hook them up like the Red fx4? Also if more lights bars are added can they be added to the same switch?

If you mean behind the grille, then technically, no. That truck had some "custom" mounts fabbed up from some scrap steel. The lights come with a wiring harness with switch, and universal feet mount that allow you to put them almost anywhere. As far as adding lights to an existing switch, it really depends on the size of the light bars you're going to add and how many, as you'll eventually be putting too many amps through the wiring and in-line fuse that comes with these lights.

How did you guys mount these onto the mirrors of the white f150 project truck?

It's honestly kind of a pain. You have to take the mirrors off and apart, while also removing the door panel. Then you have to cut off the Rigid Deustch connector so that you can route the wiring through the door grommet. With the mirror apart, you'll need to find a new bolt and nut and find a place to mount the lights on the mirrors so that they stay. You'll also likely need to add some silicone or other bonding agent to the mirror seam, since they never go back together quite as firmly as they came from the factory. Then you have to tie the wiring into a switch and find a good ground before putting everything back together.
