Total Solution to PCV Blow-By with No Check Engine Lights

The Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) System on the 2015-2018 F150 2.7L EcoBoosts has a few changes from the earlier model years, which meant our friends over at UPR Products had to go back to the drawing board and come with a unique catch can solution that eliminated the chances of a CEL from the PCV pressure sensor while at the same time remaining highly efficient in order to capture as much PCV blow-by as possible to help eliminate intercooler condensation issues and reduce the chances of valve coking. The sum of all their efforts is this UPR Dual-Valve Catch Can System that includes a complete Clean Side Catch Can (CSCC) and new VPS line that prevents a check engine light. The kit is built around a UPR Dual-Valve catch can, but also includes an entirely separate clean side can that piggy-back mounts onto the main can which increases both efficiency and overall holding volume. This kit allows you to go longer between emptying, and includes a new VPS line with a sensor which maintains the stock PCV functionality so your truck doesn't throw a code or CEL.

High-Quality Aluminum Cans with Braided Lines and Plug-and-Play Fittings

The UPR Dual-Valve Catch Can System with Clean Side Can features the high-quality construction and kit components that you know and love from UPR, all of which easily drops into your 2015-2018 F150 2.7L EcoBoost in a straightforward installation. Both the main Dual-Valve Can and the Clean Side Catch Can are CNC machined out of aircraft-grade T-6 6061 billet aluminum that gives them excellent strength and corrosion resistance. The cans are topped off with an aggressive black color that lets them blend in with your engine bay for a clean, near-OEM look. The catch can system comes standard with pre-cut, high-quality, Goodyear braided hoses topped off with black ferrules and plug-and-play PCV fittings that provide a great look and simple, drop-in installation. The main can comes complete with a mounting bracket that installs onto your 2015-2018 F150's upper radiator support and faces the can inside of your engine bay. Each system comes with a full set of installation hardware and instructions for mounting the cans and routing the hosing. Some drilling is required for installation.

Drilling Required: this catch can system requires some amount of drilling for installation.

CEL Note: UPR designed this can so that it does not throw a P04DB trouble code for your F150's VPS sensor. However, even with UPR's updated can design, some F150s may still throw a code, and UPR cannot guarantee with any certainty that their can won't trip a P04DB code. Only a custom tune can permanently disable the VPS sensor and eliminate the P04DB CEL.

Excellent kit. Very high quality components, and it was easy to install. I only had to drill a single hole in one intake line. I was having most of the vapors collect in the small can and none in the large. I emailed UPR and they told me to gut one of my PCV valves. Worked perfect. Really happy with this kit.....it catches tons of water and oil.

The quality of this product is the finest I have seen. I used to own a RX monster and this blows it out of the water. The precut hoses with the nicer fittings and even the nicer hose is so much better.Install is pretty easy. The hardest part is drilling the hole for the WOT connection just because the drill size is a bit uncommon (at least for me and my local home depot). The reason for 3 starts though is I got a CEL from the CSS. Apparently this only affects some people, but the only fix is either a tune or to remove the CSS. For me that is a bit frustrating because not only did I not know a CEL was a possibility, but if it is the CSS should be an optional accessory that comes with a warning. Since I am still under my powertrain warranty I will just remove the CSS and wait. UPR was great at responding quickly to my email, but this is still a bit disappointing.
