Extremely Powerful Hyperspot Beam Pattern

Rigid Industries uses it's patented Specter Optics system in the D2 light, projecting a 5 degree, ultra-narrow, concentrated Spot beam pattern that can reach an amazing distance of 560+ meters (as illustrated below). Why spend the the money on rigid? What's the difference between the Chinese ones that are a tenth of the price?

A lot. 1). Offshore lights generally use stamped housings or thinner cast housings paired with tempered glass lenses which makes them much more susceptible to damage than Rigid's cast/extruded aluminum housings and polycarbonate lenses. 2). While the Offshore lights usually have similar (or even better) raw lumen outputs, their optics generally don't harness that light effectively. Rigid's patented optics are arguably some of the best on the market and generate much more effective beam patterns. 3). Offshore lights can have wildly different color temperatures, some of them pushing 8000K, which is a lot harder on your eyes than Rigid's 6000K. 4). Rigid's lights use high-quality drivers and capacitors, which means they turn on instantly without warm-up, unlike some offshore lights. 5). Rigid's lights are RoHS compliant, meaning they don't output a bunch of RF interference, unlike many offshore lights which can effect your radio/CB signals. 6). Rigid's duallys come with a sealed deustch connector, wiring harness, and switch. Most offshore lights only come with pigtails, and many don't come with additional wiring at all. 7). Rigid's lights have built-in voltage protection, and their wiring comes with in-line fuses. Most offshore lights don't have voltage protection at all. 8). Rigid's lights are 100% water and dust-proof, and have a GORE pressure relief vent to prevent condensation. Offshore lights usually have no pressure relief ratings and very low waterproof ratings. 9). Rigid's housings are powder coated and include a UV protectorant and stainless steel hardware that keeps the whole light bar free from corrosion and discoloration. Offshore light are generally just painted, aren't UV-stable, and include basic hardware or zinc-coated hardware at best. 10). Rigid offers a Limited Lifetime Warranty or a 10-year limited warranty on the vast majority of their lights. Offshore lights generally only include a 30-day warranty, if any at all.
