Revised Design and Lower Price

The original aFe Stage 2 Cold Air Intake is still one of the most popular cold air intakes for the 2011 to 2014 F150 EcoBoosts, but it's also on the expensive side. This version of aFe's Stage 2 Intake features a revised inlet tube design and a single filter instead of the other system's dual filters. The end result is an F150 EcoBoost Cold Air Intake System that saves you some cash while still providing excellent performance. Despite its less-intensive design, this version of aFe's Intake Kit can get your truck improved throttle response and power and can support aggressive PCM tunes and custom tunes to get your EcoBoost F150 even more power and torque. The intake will even give your truck a slight improvement in fuel economy while its Pro 5R Air Filter provides improved air filtration to keep more dust and grime out of your engine.

Extremely Easy Installation

The aFe Stage 2 Cold Air Intake is an easy, direct bolt-on replacement for your F150's factory air filter and inlet tubing. The system even reuses the the bottom half of the stock air box, allowing the filter and housing to easily drop into place. The air filter included in this kit is one of aFe's Pro Dry S dry filter designs that uses a hassle-free dry media to pull more dust and other debris out of your engine's inbound air than stock while making maintenance easy. The filter feeds into two mandrel-bent inlet tubes that are made from powder coated aluminum that maintain excellent air velocity and volume all the way to your truck's turbos, allowing them both to work more efficiently. The intake comes with rubber trim to seal the filter housing with your truck's hood as well as all the clamps, couplers, hardware, and detailed installation instructions you'll need to complete the job.

For 2012 to 2014 F150 EcoBoosts only: This kit will only fit 2012 to 2014 F150 EcoBoost F150s due to their revised MAP sensor design.

2014 Ford F150 FX4 Ecoboost

Increased my mpg from 13.5 average to 17.8 average running 35X12.50X20. Installed in about 20mins, the 45 coming off the box is a little frustration but worth the hassle. Love the product and love Stage3motor Sports.

Could I make this one work on my 2011 if I get the 3 bar map sensor? And where can I get new intake boots to put on turbos?

If you can somehow adapt the 3-bar MAP sensor over to the 2011 F150's MAF, then maybe. We can't guarantee it'll work, however.

According to aFe, their recommended interval is 20,000 to 30,000 miles.

I saw in one of the reviews that someone had an issue with the vacuum tubes and it causing the 4x4 to grind. Is this an issue that has been addressed? Is there a fix for it?

IWE grinding issues were likely just coincidental, since the IWE system isn't an uncommon point of problems. However, if the vacuum lines weren't properly reinstalled onto this intake, then it's possible that the person in question had a general vacuum issue causing his IWE problems.
