aFe designed their Pro Dry S Stage 2 Magnum Force Intake System not only to flow a much greater amount of air through your intake, but also to reduce power-robbing engine heat. The system utilizes a durable 18-gauge powder-coated one-piece heat shield that effectively keeps out excessive heat and allows for even bigger power gains. Best of all, the heat shield uses your factory mounting locations so you don't have drill anything for proper installation. Unfortunately, aFe has not confirmed fitment of this kit on the 2020 or 2021 Super Duty 6.2Ls as of yet.

What is the difference between the dry and oiled. I know dumb question i just didnt know they made dry performance filters.

The only difference is one filter media requires filter oil and the other does not. In general, oiled filters tend to actually filter particulates better than dry while maintaining better flow. Dry filters are a lot easier to deal with and maintain, though they don't quite have the efficiency as oiled filters.

Will installing this cause check engine light to come on, throw other engine fault codes, or void my factory warranty?

With a proper installation, this intake should not cause a check engine light or throw any codes. In general, a basic bolt-on part like a cold air intake kit will not have an effect on your truck's Powertrain or Bumper-to-Bumper warranties. However, all warranty decisions are up to individual service departments and your best bet would be to contact your service advisor directly and see what kind of leeway they give.
