The CURT Echo Mobile Brake Controller operates using a triple-axis, motion-sensing accelerometer which is an integrated circuit that provides smooth, safe stops in every situation. It is compatible with two to four trailer brakes (one or two axles) and can be used with low-voltage PWM wiring systems. The Echo is also compatible with cruise control and ABS brakes and comes equipped built-in short-circuit protection to give you more peace of mind for every advenutre. Since the Echo is made to be outside, CURT engineered this system for maximum weather resistance. The controller itself is made with a potted enclosure, meaning the inside is filled with epoxy resin which seals off the internal components from moisture and debris. This ensures long-lasting operation even through brutal weather conditions such as rain or snow. For installation, the Echo comes with a retention strap and locking tab for connecting to the 7-way RV blade vehicle socket. The strap and tab work to maintain a strong connection, keeping the unit firmly attached.
