Pretty easy install. The only thing is the inside pin you have hook. Other then that lights are bright and look good.

Customer Question I am putting these into a set of 2015-2017 F150 ANZO LED Outline Projector Headlights (Black Housings). Do I need to do any adjusting of the "Chuck Angle"? They fit just fine set to 0 but do they perform better in these projector headlights set to a different angle?

Customer Answer Unfortunately, we can't guarantee what angle the lights will come set at. For best results in ANZO's projectors, the actual LED diodes should be facing the 9 and 3 o'clock positions when installed in ANZO's low beam projectors.

Customer Question I bought this for the Anzo switchbacks for my F150. However they dont seem to project on the road very well. What orientation should they be in the headlights? Should bulb be straight up and down or side to side (where the actual LED is.

Customer Answer For best results, the LEDs should be facing the 3 and 9 o'clock positions. You can adjust orientation by loosening the small Allen set screw near the mounting collar and the rotating the bulb assembly.

Customer Question Does this kit work for both high and low beams on ANZO-111388 2017-2019 F-250/350 SWITCHBACK lights with the ability to instal the dust cover?

Customer Answer It will not. This LED kit has too large a bulb and ballast to fit inside the housing of ANZO's 2017-2019 Super Duty headlights and still reinstall the dust covers.

Customer Question There is a dial type marking on the flange by the mounting tabs to change the direction of the LEDs. What setting does this need to be on for the low beams in the ANZO LED Outline Projector Headlights (ANZO-111347)?

Customer Answer The LEDs do have an adjustable chuck. For the ANZO low beams, it's recommended to position the LEDs at the 3 and 9 o'clock positions.

Customer Question I have these bulbs and went to install them in Raptor Spyder Headlights (P/N: SL5077592) and there was a dark spot in the middle of the resulting beam, almost like the diodes weren't where the housing expected them to be to properly focus. Did I do something silly, or are not all H7's created equal and some bulbs work better with different headlight units?

Customer Answer It's more that not all headlights and projector housings are created equal. You have to keep in mind that projectors are usually designed for halogen bulbs, which scatter light in all directions. The Oracle LED H7s only have diodes on two sides, so it's likely that you just need to turn the chuck to reposition the LEDs so they're casting their light in a more effective direction. Most H7 projectors work best when the LEDs are at a 3 and 9 o'clock position. However, we have not personally tried an LED kit with these headlights as of yet, so you may have to play with their positioning a bit to get the most effective beam pattern possible.

Customer Answer These lights are rated with a 6500K color temperature, which should match the 6000K color temperature of Diode Dynamic's XP80 Fog Lights very well.

Customer Question If I have the anzo switch back headlights and convert both low and high beams to these will the high beams function as a true high beam or will they be the same light output as the low beams?

Customer Answer They'll still function as a high beam, since the internal design of the lens is what mostly dictates beam pattern, not the light source. The only issue is that the high beam housing of the ANZOs are fairly small, and I haven't heard of anyone being able to install the ANZOs in the high beams while still being able to reinstall the dust cover.

Customer Question Will these fit as a direct plug and play replacement for the stock bulbs on a 2017 Special Edition F-150?

Customer Answer They will not. Most 2017 Lariat Special Edition trucks came with LED headlights from the factory, and these will not work with LED headlights. If you do have a truck with halogens, this conversion kit is for H7s only, and will not fit as a replacement for stock H11 low beam or 9005 high beam bulbs.

Customer Answer Unfortunately, we are not familiar with that particular headlight brand. If they use an H7 bulb, then this kit can technically be used, though we can't guarantee that you'll be able to fit the driver inside the headlight housing.

Customer Question I went to a Truck outfitter with these bulbs and my Anzo swithcback headlights and was told the housing does not fit. The installer mentioned he could install, but there would be a chance of overheating. Is there a specific way these should be installed to avoid heating?

Customer Answer Unfortunately, ANZO recently changed the design of their 2015-2017 F150 headlights and made the bulb holder slot smaller, which impedes fitment of this LED kit. ANZO did say that you could grind out the hole to be slightly larger, though you'd have to ensure that the headlights are upside down when you do it so debris doesn't fall into the lens assembly. We have not had issues with overheating on ANZO's headlights with LED conversions so far on our own 2015 F150 XLT project truck.

Customer Answer That's entirely dependent on the year of your truck and the headlights that you're attempting to convert with this kit. We have had customers successfully install this kit in the low-beam housings of ANZO's 2015-2017 F150 headlights, but we have not confirmed it ourselves.

Customer Answer That depends on the vehicle, but for the F150s and Super Dutys with aftermarket headlights, you generally do not require resistors or Ant-Flicker CANBUS adapters.

Customer Answer If you're installing them in ANZO's 2015-2017 headlights or a similar set of headlights that use H7s for both the high and low beams, then yes, you would need a quantity of two to convert both your high and low beams.

Customer Answer They will. The ANZOs (and most other aftermarket headlights) are only DOT/SAE approved for use with halogen bulbs, which is why they only come with halogens from the manufacturers.

Customer Answer It works. But you do have to screw the heat sink upside down. It's not that it is too tall, though it's close, it's that the edge of the heat sink where it mushrooms out hits the lip of the dust cover blocking a proper fit.
