Features Cross-Linked Polyethylene Construction with Oiled Performance Air Filter

aFe designed their Quantum intake kit for the F150s to be one of the most high-quality cold air intakes on the market. The intake's closed-box filter air box and inlet tubing are made out of cross-linked polyethylene that's resistant to heat-soak so that your inlet air temperatures stay under better control. The filter housing is fully sealed aside from the inlet scoop, and features captive screws for providing a better seal with the filter than most other intake kits. This version of the Quantum intake comes standard with aFe's Pro 5R conical air filter that provides more airflow than stock, but features a resuable design with an oiled filter media that makes it extremely easy to clean and reuse after applying aFe's filter oil. The intake does not require tuning and drops right into place of the stock intake without the need for drilling, trimming, or other permanent modifications. The intake is compatible with the stock air scoop and comes with installation hardware and instructions.
