What's more, you get your choice of three 5-Star custom tunes in this package that are based around both a specific application and fuel octane to meet your needs. 5-Star offers high-performance, towing, and fuel economy tunes for 93 octane, 91 octane, and 87 octane gasoline. Purchasing 5-Star's custom tuning even automatically qualifies you for our F150 Lifetime Tunes Program where you can receive free retunes for life on tunable products purchased from Stage 3. Your five 5-Star tunes come with an SCT X4 handheld tuner that quickly and easily uploads your choice of tune through your truck's OBD-II port. How our F150 Custom Tuning Works

Stage 3's 5-Star Custom Tuning Step-by-Step:
1. You place your order for 5-Star's Custom Tunes.
2. Stage 3 sends you a "blank" tuner without custom tunes.
3. You hook the tuner into your truck and pull its ECU strategy code.
4. You fill out our online tune form with the information from your truck and its strategy code.
5. If your truck has Ford's latest strategy updates, we'll forward your information over to 5-Star and get your tunes created.
6. Once 5-Star creates your tunes, you will be emailed a link to download them from our Google Drive.
7. Download 5-Star's tunes to your PC and then load them to your tuning device using SCT's Device Updater Software.
8. Now you can successfully load your 5-Star Custom Tune of choice into your F150.

After you order this system, you are sent a "blank" tuner without any custom tunes. Please be aware that SCT's devices and software are only compatible with Microsoft Windows computers, and will not work with Mac OS X, Linux, or other operating systems. Once the tunes are successfully loaded onto the tuner, you can then start to load your tunes into your truck. If we find that your F150 is behind on its latest TSB strategy updates, we may require you to have your TSB updates performed at your dealership of choice. Read our TSB Update blog post.
