The kit comes with a brand new air filter, heat shield mount, and inlet tubing that all work together to bring in a larger amount of cooler charge air at lower temperatures than stock. The filter is mounted in aFe's unique heat shield that sits on top of the bottom half of your air box housing and comes with rubber trim that seals against your F150's hood to keep air out.
