The aFe Stage 2 Cold Air Intake for the 2010 to 2014 SVT Raptor 6.2L are by far and away one of the best bolt-on power adders that you can grab for your truck. This complete intake kit replaces your Raptor's factory air box, inlet tubing, and plenum with a set of high-powered performance gear that will get your truck more horsepower, torque, better throttle response, and improved fuel economy all in one easy to install kit. aFe's kit is based around one of their excellent Pro 5 R oiled air filters that's mounted in a complete filter housing with a heat shield and seal. The filter gives your Raptor's engine with more air than stock while providing improved filtration of dust and other particulates. The filter leads into a complete set of inlet tubing manufactured out of mandrel-bent aluminum with a wrinkle black powder coat finish that resists corrosion. The inlet tubing replaces your factory tubing, plastic plenum, and ugly engine cover while helping to maintain air velocity into your Raptor's throttle body for more power and greater efficiency. aFe throws in a full set of hardware and installation instructions that make getting the Stage 2 Cold Air Intake Kit up and running extremely easy.

AFE Stage 2 CAI for 2013 Ford Raptor

Easy instalation. Everything fit perfectly and made up to Fords brackets and housing. Can definetly tell the increased HP and decreased lag time. Be sure your ready to hear a deeper, throatier, meaner sound from the engine. I especially like it because when you stand on it the sound is great, but while traveling down the highway there is little to no road noise from the engine. AFE did their homework on this one... great product.

2014 Ford Raptor Screw

Shipped quickly. Easy install. Noticeable throttle response, tough to keep the foot off the pedal just to hear that deep throaty sound. After I also added the new cat back exhaust it really transformed my Raptor! A CAI is definitely the first thing you should do to your truck. I was amazed at the nasty plastic box that Ford has on there. AFE is great quality, attachment is solid

AFE CAI FOR SVT RAPTOR

Fit and finish top notch. Install took a little more than I though but well worth the extra time. Be prepared for a different sound coming out of the hood as well. Sounds great! My only little ding would be that I did sand the area around where the filter connects and is banded over with a clamp. The rubber against the hard plastic mount just didn't want to stay on as well as I'd have liked.

Extremely easy install. Precut hoses and molding make it even easier. Looks and sounds great. Quicker throttle response and smooth acceleration. Quiet when driving normal!!

2014 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor

This is exactly as represented. The fit was perfect and the installation took less than 30 minutes. The HP and torque increases can be felt, no dump required.

6.2L SVT FORD RAPTOR

This is an excellent upgrade, I went with this versus the others, as it states it slides directly into the factory lower box; in which having installed many intakes before, would allow for a cleaner install. It does just what it says, very easy to install, and it took me less than half an hour. Sounds great, looks great. Very pleased with this.

About how much increase in miles per gallon does the system give you? And what is the increase with a tuner?

The problem with estimating fuel mileage gains, is that fuel economy is so heavily dependent on your driving style. In general, assuming no change in your driving, an intake can add something like .5mpg. A tuner can add up 1.5 to 2 mpg, but that's assuming good fuel and that you're not punching the gas to feel the extra power.

what do you recommend on dusty weathers. this intake or the Pro Guard 7? and what are the differences between them?

That really depends on how dusty and how much off-roading you're planning on doing. The Pro 5R filter has five layers of filtration and an oiled design. The Pro Guard 7 has seven layers of media and is also oiled. In general, the Pro Guard 7 is a good idea if you live in extremely dusty climates and do a ton of off-roading, as well.

It's an oiled filter, and it comes oiled from aFe. You'll only need to reoil it when you clean it for the first time.
