aFe's Stage 2 EcoBoost F150 cold air intake kit is not only one of the most impressive-looking CAI systems for the 2011 EcoBoost F150, it's also on of the most capable and can deliver improved throttle response and power to your truck's 3.5L EcoBoost V6 by getting more cool air into your truck's turbochargers. aFe's intake features a powerful dual-filter design that feeds your truck's turbochargers all the air they need to make huge power gains without the need for any PCM tuning. Working together, this kit outflows your stock intake system by a whopping 44%.

Packed with High-Quality Performance Parts

The two 360 degree Pro 5R performance air filters from aFe mount in a unique heat shield design that snaps into place on top of your F150's lower air box housing which eases installation and provides a firm mounting point for the entire kit. The filters feed into aFe's oversized, equal-length inlet tubes that come standard with with an "H-Pipe" balance tube to optimize airflow. Each aFe intake system comes with hardware, clamps, couplings, and extremely detailed instructions that make installation easy. The filters come oiled and can be washed, reoiled, and reused as part of a standard maintenance cycle. The intake is 50-state street legal and comes with a California Air Resources Board EO Number.

Amazing quality. Unbelievable performance. Its not just for power improvement but the sound of the turbos is enhanced dramatically. Sounds almost like a blow off valve. You can hear the intake breathing, feeding the turbos and engine massive amounts of air. Very good investment

2011 Ford F150

So... the kit arrived quickly. Simple install though everything needs to be lined up just right. You can definitely hear it when you drive, but its not too loud. Does feel like it added a bit of power throughout. The downside...without a doubt I received an 'open box' kit. The box had been re-taped/re-sealed, pipes appear to have been dropped on concrete and scratched, packing material was torn, and plastic wrapping used to protect filters was partially removed. It seems fairly evident that someone installed (or at least attempted to install) the kit and didn't like it. The filters still appeared to be clean/new, but who knows....Rather than deal with the hassle of return shipping and getting a new one, I went ahead and installed. Just a little disappointed that I paid for 'new', but got 'open box/potentially used'.

After this 15-20 minute install if that, I couldn't speak. It sounds great and you'll hear your turbos spool. If you don't have this, get it.

2011 f150 Ecoboost

The air intake works good. I did notice a little better gas mileage maybe 1-2 mpg better. Didn't notice much performance, maybe a little better throttle response. Noise from the intake is not that loud at all. U can year the turbos but not that loud. No need at all for the cover. But I am sure once I put the tuner in the performance and mpg will increase.

2012 F 150 crew cab 3.5 Ecoboost

Recently I purchased the aFe Stage 2 Cold Air Intake(to replace the K&N) you can hear the difference. I cannot wait till I get it back on the track to see just how much power I get from it.

Is the aFe Stage 2 Cold Air Intake California compliant?

At this time none of the AFE cold air intakes are carb legal in California for the F150 Ecoboost. I do believe that AFE is trying to work on the Carb legal status but as of now no updates.
