aFe has put together one of the most powerful cold air intakes yet for the 2012 to 2014 F150 EcoBoost trucks with this Stage 2 Cold Air Intake. Using dual aFe Pro 5R conical air filters that feed into large-diameter, equal-length inlet tubes, a huge amount of cool charge air gets dumped into your truck's turbochargers. The aFe EcoBoost Stage 2 Kit can add throttle response, power, and torque by providing more efficient airflow to your F150's turbochargers. The kit's huge power is packed into a complete F150 Cold Air Intake System filled with high-quality components that will make your 3.5L EcoBoost V6 feel like something even more vicious.

Complete System with Quality Hardware

The kit's huge power gains begin with aFe's Pro 5R oiled 360 degree air filters that mount using aFe's unique heat shield and the bottom half of your OEM air box. The filters feed air into their included inlet pipes that have an equal-length design and feature an "H-Pipe" balance tube that promotes highly-efficient airflow. Despite being one of the more intensive cold air intakes for the EcoBoost F150s, the aFe Stage 2 kit is extremely easy to install and comes with all of the necessary clamps, couplers, and hardware you need. This intake definitely sucks, and that's a good thing. Not only does it sound great but i noticed the slight boost in acceleration. Plus it only took about 20 minutes to install

2013 F150 Ecoboost

Was impressed by the packaging and quality of components...even the instructions were clear, but they're not really needed. Fit was very good, minor jiggling to get intake tubes in position but very normal. SUPER quality, and looks great when hood is opened! But, I bought this for power primarily and it did NOT disappoint. Now, I can't tell exactly how much it added, but suffice to say throttle response was better, it sounds better, and on WOT it pulls MUCH better last 1500 RPM to redline.Couple this with exhaust ( I'm doing next) and I think we have a winner! BUY THIS!

2013 FX4 ecoboost 3.5l

Intake sounds and looks great. It was easy to install. As for performance I noticed a small increase in acceleration. Not bad at all considering its a 6000lb truck with just a cold air upgrade. I'm very pleased with the product. Also for those looking to hear the blow off valve this cold air kit makes it more noticeable.

2014 F150 Lariat Ecoboost

I purchased this system for my 2014 Ecoboost.Very easy install. Dont understand the comments on youtube about it being noisy. All I can hear is the turbos spooled and the pop-off valve releasing. Sounds awesome. i will be adding a AFE 4 catback system soon. I love it. Throttle response is quicker,didnt checked fuel mileage yet... cant stop stomping on it

Meh

So I've had this installed in my 2012 F150 for about a week and a half now and meh is all I can say. There is a slight gain in acceleration and no increased fuel economy. That said, it sounds awesome, easy to install and I was impressed by stage3 shipping and customer service. If I had it to do again I'd probably save a bunch of money with a K&N air filter.

I purchased the AFE stage 2 Cold Air Intake, and so far I love it! Very easy install, and great quality! Be prepared to hear the turbos once installed. When lifting the throttle the turbos whistle and sounds sweet! It was a great purchase!

The sound is by far the greatest part of this intake. It really wakes up the turbos. This along with aftermarket exhaust netted my a mpig increase as well as a little bit more acceleration. I strongly recommend this intake. Well made too.

Had only one issue with when purchasing this product and that was getting the product it tookover a week to receive this product from the day I ordered it. it wasn't shipped out to me from the company for 3 days after i ordered itwhen they say product will ship next business day. I probably will continue to purchase parts from them because they do have good customer service and good prices on parts. As for that issueI really can't believe how much this changes the way the vehicle performs really can notice the difference in acceleration and the way the vehicle runs. Very exceptional product product is very good quality and fit very good had no problem with insulation took only a few minutes to install. The wait was worth it hopefully on my next order from them they will get it to me faster so I can continue on my project.

2013 F150 FX4 ecoboost

the product looks great and sounds great. I haven't dyno tested it to see if it produces the power it advertises yet. the install is really simple (it is just a few bands that you clamp down). however. it loses a star because one reducing coupling provided in the kit did not fit... let me clarify; (first off, everything was installed correctly) one coupling was sized a 1/4 too small for the AFTER MARKET pipe. (how do you get your own sizes wrong?) anyways, I was given a 3 1/4 to 3 reducer. the AFE pipe is 3 1/2. so I had to order a replacement coupling that was 3 1/2 to 3 online, because no stores in town carried that size in stock. naturally this was the last piece I installed and I didn't check all the sizes prior(my mistake). I got the right coupling from spektre and got everything installed. other than providing one wrong coupling for their own product, I am happy with it.

Ordered and recieved right on time. Everything was package nicely READ INSTRUCTIONS 1ST as any prepared one w9uld do ..especially when drinking may be involved.It took just a few to install pr3tty basic. Sounds great looks great I have it tuned aswell I did notice more power especially when you manual shift and it does sound badass. Overall would reccomend as an add to your eco..my only complaint is afe forgot to add there nameplate on the tubes aw shown on th e w3bsite but they are aware and I am sure they will mail it to me..

Was one of the easiest intakes to install took literally not even 5 minutes to take the stock off and install the afe kit. Love the look, love the sound of it. Defiantly made the turbos about louder, especially when you don't have an exhaust yet. Best first mod bought.

I Installed this intake a week ago and am very impressed with the noticeable torque gain in the higher rpm range. On top of the noticeable gains, this intake sounds AWESOME, but is not as noisy in the cab as described by some people. Great product, easy install and best bang for your buck in my opinion.

Great purchase. It wasn't a super easy install but it was worth it. One of the connections wasnt even close to the right size between the stock charge pipe and the afe intake tube but with a little effort and a few words later, it was a snug fit. Sounds great and it helped out a little with my mpgs.

I am happy with stage 3 with the promp shipment. But the overall product did not really increase horsepower that I could tell. And it rattles terrible like something is loose but I checked it over many times. very easy to install. It looks cool but would not buy this one again.

came really fast. easy install sounds great. lot of turbo whistle. i had two issues with mine so make sure you have all the right hardware before install mine came with two wrong size hose clamps. Also mine was missing the AFE nameplate on the tube. But stage3 has been talking to AFE to get this resolved.

2011 Ford F150 ecoboost XLT

I am very happy with this product. I was running a Edge CTS programmer before I received this product an noticed a little bit better performance but with this intake strapped under the hood, my truck comes alive. I push 18lbs of boost and I have seen a major increase in MPG even running in race mode. Would defiantly recommend this to anyone looking for more power.

Installed this along with the BBK Throttle Body, AFE Bladerunner charge pipe, and ATP intercooler. This portion of the install took the longest for me, probably becsuse of all the different pieces that can be adjusted to make the fit perfect. All said and done, the install was not difficult and it fits and looks awesome. It's made of high quality material and it makes your engine compartment look high performance.

Turbos sound alittle better, minimal notice of throttle response. Tune takes care of that. Fitment was good. The 2 smaller hose clamps need to be a size bigger. Put everything in somewhat loose, then tighten.

Easy install, better breathing loving the sound. Only down side is without the cover the filters suck up a lot of dirt. But defiantly a power increase with exhaust.

Turbos breath better. Two pipe with a single mass air sensor is strange, but it seems to work. The large diameter pipes connect to OEM pipe and reduce available air flow before reaching the turbos.

This intake is awesome woke up the turbos you can here them whistle when you get on the throttle. Shipping was fast ordered it on Sunday got it Tuesday. Installation was easy took about 30 min. Instructions are perfect for install. I'm going to upgrade the bov next. If your looking for that turbo sound this is a great start well worth it.

'12 F150 Ecoboost

Did this upgrade at the same time as a aFe charge pipe and tune revision. CAI makes a lot of good induction noises and sounds virtually identical to a BOV under the right circumstances. Can't report on MPG gains yet -- not really expecting them....but we'll see! If you want to get the most out of this aftermarket part you should get tuned.

I installed this kit on my 2014 F150 EcoBoost(30 min). The install was straightforward but a bit difficult to complete as some of the piping close to the filters seemed just a bit short. Holding the pipes in the filters while tightening the clamps on the filters was a bit frustrating until an extra hand helped out. Overall the system is high quality and seems to breathe well with moderate to loud noise without the optional cover.

I would definitely recommend this cold air intake to others. The only issue I had was trying to install it by myself, it can be done with minimal struggle without someone helping but an extra set of hands would be very useful. It only took about 35 minutes to install. It definitely woke my truck up in reguards to throttle response more than I thought it would. I can very rarely tell it's on there unless my drivers window is down and I lay into it. I also have an aftermarket exhaust which made my truck louder, if you have stock exhaust you will probably hear it pulling air in more.

2013 F150 eco-boost

Just got my 54-12192 in yesterday and installed it. The clamps that connect the two pipes (H) are way to small. I will have to go out today and get bigger ones. After install I started it up and sounds bad a@&. Took it for a ride and sounds great but didn’t notice any power difference. Perhaps I will after Stage 3 sends me updated tune. When I got home I wanted to check to make sure everything was still tight and the pipe was so hot I couldn’t keep my hand on more then 2-3 seconds. If it’s a cold air intake why is it so hot. Yes I have the seal on the air box. This was one of the most expensive cold air intakes out there. So far not impressed.

Sounds awesome I can hear the engine sucking more air... and the intake kinda roar when I accelerate .. it’s just amazing. Mileage wise I’ve seen about 1.5 -2 mph more savings than my normal, I’ve been driving with this air intake for over a month. Excellent highly recommend. Also easy to install.. btw , don’t follow the video gide to assemble this just kinda follow the instructions that comes with it .. it is very simple. If you do it like the video you’ll have to re do a few parts again...

2012 Ford F150 ecoboost

This thing is horrible and has done nothing but cause problems with my truck. I have used for a month and half now and first off the gas mileage has gone down 2 miles per gallon, there is no extra pep that it gives the truck, and my check engine light came on the day after I installed it on my truck and ever since the engine light came on the remote start doesn't work. This is the only air intake I have ever put on a vehicle that has made the vehicle get worse gas mileage and hasn't at least given it a little extra pep. Would not recommend or buy.

I am curious if this intake is made out of aluminum, or polymer? It looks similar to the AFE bladerunner charge pipe in regards to its finish, and the blade runner is made out of aluminum (I believe). It also looks like this intake has TIG welds around the H pipe, is this the case? Thank you in advance.

The tubing and the frame for the air box is all made out of aluminum with a wrinkle black powder coat finish. The overall construction is extremely similar to the Bladerunner intercooler tubes. The tubing is TIG welded.
