The aFe Stage 2 Magnum Force Cold Air Intake Kit for the 2015 F150 5.0Ls is a powerful, yet hassle-free system that improves air volume and velocity into your truck's engine. Each one of these systems is built around a high-flow Pro 5R air filter that features an oiled design with five layers of filtration media and outflows your factory disposable intake. The filter comes mounted in a full heat shield assembly that installs onto the bottom half of your truck's stock air box and keeps the filter protected from heat soak. The filter moves air into a large 3.5" inlet tube that's all mandrel-bent to minimize restrictions. Th tubing is made out of aluminum and comes standard with a black wrinkle finish. Each Stage 2 kit comes with a full set of installation hardware and instructions.

Really simple install. Installed this and the BBK 85mm Throttle body in less then an hour. Love the added power they gave me.

2016 ford d150

Easy to install. Took me a half hour but 15 minutes was just putting it together. All pieces were there. Only complaint is the riveted AFE placard is upside down on mine. Makes an awesome air whistle when on the gas

2017 F-150 5.0

Very easy to install. I have a Roush exhaust on my truck as well that is pretty loud already and this intake really took it even a step louder. There is a little noise from it due to it not being a closed filter but I like that kind of thing so it's not a big deal to me. It does worsen the low-end power a tad bit but if you already own a 5.0 then you already know that sucks anyway. Overall a great filter.

F150 5.0 XLT

I regret 1) having purchased this intake as it doesn't do as expected and 2) having kept it on too long (seeing if fuel economy would actually improve as expected), and therefore passing the 30d return period. The sound this thing emits is like the V8 version of a poorly tuned Honda 'burner', giving off a hollow resonation throughout the cab that sounds like a folgers can is attached to the exhaust system. Joking aside, it didn't improve economy, and had a negative impact on low-end throttle response. I am told that S&B is a much better alternative, and comes free of engine bay harmonics. Although i understand the reasoning, i would have been very appreciative if allowed to exchange this thing for another product, as i now have to sell it on ebay and eat the cost.

A throttle body spacer is not required for this kit, though you can use one if you wish.

Nope. This intake does not strictly require a tuner, even if you already have a cat-back kit on your truck.

I have an AFE Pro 5R Oiled Filter in my 2012 F150 5.0. I clean and oil it every 10,000. I've had it for 70,000 miles. When should I expect to change it out for a new filter? I don't see this filter on your site. Can you get it for me when I do need it?

It's mostly to do with selection, since aFe has an air filter option for all occasions, though the intakes themselves are also solid.
