This product is about 9in tall and has 360-degrees of radial flow performance that features a pro 5R media filter. The filter in this is created with five layers of progressively finer cotton gauze media for maximum long lasting performance. The five layer design offers the largest amount of high flowing air and is advertised to deliver the highest power gain. aFe Power also created this with an inverted top which makes for more filter surface area that helps it have longer surface intervals. The filter is surrounded by XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene) polymer housing that minimizes the amount of warm air for the best performance. This also allows for easy viewing of the filter while at the same time creating a heat blocking seal when the hood is closed.
