The 8" tall 360-degree radial flow air filter is fitted with aFe's pre-oiled Pro 5R media with five layers of progressively finer cotton material. This system provides the most substantial amount of high-flowing air to your engine and boosts the power gains of your SUV. The air filter is perfect for competitive driving, on-road, and off-road use. The system is capable of improving airflow by up to 46% and horsepower by up to 24 HP. Unique & Durable Construction

The Momentum system is constructed from heat-resistant cross-linked polyethylene, with a smooth one-piece sealed housing and the patent-pending filter-to-housing interface. For hassle-free filter inspection, without requiring system disassembly, aFe has included a large, clear sight window. The system also consists of an auxiliary air inlet that can bring in additional air, or can be closed with the included plug. Achieving maximum power gains, while maintaining a perfect fit, is possible because the system features a high quality, computer-designed, dyno-tuned intake tube. Why does this have to be used with a magunson supercharger when the only difference between it and 50-70095R seems to be the sound resonator?

We cannot guarantee fitment or performance on a non-magnuson supercharged 4Runner as we have not tested on anything other than the application the manufacturer lists it as working on.

Does this CAI require a custom tune? Per Magnuson, the increased air flow will throw the MAF off.

According to aFe, it does not, but we have not tested this intake ourselves on a Magnuson-equipped 4Runner.
