Installed this weekend, excellent quality on the parts, easy to install, only complaint is the kit came with 2 left side tie rod brackets (not one for each side) so the right side is at an angle to the stabilizer and is pinching the rubber grommet, otherwise would have given a 5 star.

When I got the parts in I definitely loved how sturdy they were compared to my previous one that the last owner put on which was not made for the lift I’m running out say the least. It was a night and day difference on the quality of the product. My only gripe and the reason I’m giving this 4 stars was the package I was sent did not have the large U bolts and nuts to go with it however a quick trip to autozone solved that but that could have been avoided. Unless I’m not realizing and missing that it dosent come with certain parts unless I would have ordered the complete set including shocks and all. But over all I’m happy with the quality of the product. I would recommend if you’re looking at buying this for your truck for a replacement.

Customer Question Can you run Bilstein 5100 on this system? If so do you have the part number for this?

Asked by: ROGER - 8/12/2022
Customer Answer We do not have confirmation of Bilstein 5100s working with this bracket. Some of Bilstein's 5125s may work, but again, we have not attempted it ourselves.

Customer Question I have a stock height ‘14 F250 but it has 35x12.5 tires. When I changed all my shocks last fall to Rancho RS9000s I also installed an RS5000 steering stabilizer and since that time the steering has more wobble & looseness when I hit bumps & potholes. I’ve checked everything in the front suspension so I’m thinking I should go back to an OEM stabilizer or upgrade to a dual setup. I do not intend to put a lift kit on this truck b/c it primarily is used for towing. Which set do you recommend to regain some of that steering stiffness & stability? Thanks

Asked by: O’Daddy - 4/18/2021
Customer Answer You can probably get away with a better stock-replacement steering stabilizer. The Rancho RS5000s aren't exactly the greatest. If you don't want to lift the front, your best bet would probably be the Bilstein 5100 Single Steering Stabilizer.

Customer Question i just installed the steering stabilizers on my truck with the Fox 2.0 absorbers. The pictures show the oil chamber towards the wheels, can i put the chambers toward the center? does it matter?

Asked by: craig - 11/13/2016
Customer Answer I believe there's clearance issues once you install the BDS logo plate, but theoretically, since the Fox 2.0s have a monotube shock body design, orientation doesn't really matter.

Customer Question Would your recommend this for a stock truck?

Asked by: Mike - 9/29/2016
Customer Answer That kind of depends on the model year, but in general, this kit really isn't necessary on a bone-stock Super Duty running factory-size tires or only slightly larger tires.

Customer Question I have the dual bds steering stabilizer on an f350 2012, what's the fox replacement part #? Thanks Bruce

Asked by: Bruce - 4/14/2016
Customer Answer The BDS/Fox 2.0 Stabilizer is here. Just keep in mind that they're sold individually, and that you'll need a quantity of two for BDS's Dual Bracket Kit.

Customer Question Do you carry steering stabilizers for my 2013 ford raptor? I'm going to get a 4" lift kit. If so please let me know. I'll be placing a order tomorrow Tues march 15th so please let me know before I place the orderg. Thank you Walter Payne

Asked by: Walter Payne - 3/14/2016
Customer Answer The SVT Raptors with the stock IFS generally do not require steering stabilizers, though they can benefit greatly from upgraded tie rods, if the truck is going to be driven aggressively. Please call us directly at 1-877-578-2433 so we can get more specific with what you need.

Customer Question Am I able to run dual fox stabilizers on stock f250 with fx4 package?

Asked by: Andrew - 2/1/2016
Customer Answer You can run a stabilizer kit on a truck at stock ride height, but generally, you won't need to unless you're currently getting death wobble or adverse handling with your current choice of tires.

Customer Question I would like to see if you can help get the right parts for my truck. I have a 2011 f350 4x4 I just put a leveling kit 2.5". Need a steering stabilizer bar and shocks. If you can get me a price? thanks in advance.

Asked by: Noel Ochoa - 6/1/2015
Customer Answer There's several different options when it comes to the actual stabilizers, since BDS offers both a white-body 5500 series shock and a Fox 2.0. Your best bet would be to call us directly at 1-877-578-2433 if you're looking for a package deal.
