Steeda Driveshaft Safety Loop
Driveshaft safety loops are one of those little things that people don't think about much, but they can save you and your Mustang from serious damage. In high horsepower/torque drag cars it is not uncommon for the driveshaft's front and/or rear U-joints to break due to the demands of high-performance conditions. A broken U-joint at high speeds can pole-vault your Mustang with you inside, creating a dangerous life-threatening situation. You'd be a lot better off staying safe and spending a little bit of money now than spending time in the hospital later.
Created For High-Speed Racing
If your Mustang GT or GT500 runs 12.99 or quicker in the quarter mile, a driveshaft safety loop isn't just a good idea, it's actually required by NHRA rules. Steeda's twin rail construction is designed to remain durable under high-speed racing conditions and the two-piece loop feature means you don't have to drop your Mustang's driveshaft to install it. It will clear a 4" driveshaft and works with both 1 and 2-piece driveshafts.
