20% Shorter Shifts

Steeda's Mustang Tri-Ax Shifter has a 20% shorter throw than your stock shifter, but it retains the same shifter knob height. You'll get all of the benefits of a short throw shifter while avoid getting a sore arm. By decreasing the distance the top of your shifter and your hand has to move to change gears, Steeda's new Mustang Tri-Ax Short Throw Shifter delivers quicker and more precise shifting. The less time you spend in between gears, the faster you get to the finish line.

Retains Reverse Lockout

The Tri-Ax Short Throw Shifter retains the Reverse Lockout feature of your Mustang's stock shifter, so you don't have to worry about an overly enthusiastic reach for 1st gear that instead ends up with you throttling backwards on accident. Steeda's Mustang shifter is crafted from billet aluminum, steel, and composite, and finished with show-quality nickel platting right here in the USA. You can use your Mustang's stock shifter knob or any shifter knob that fits your stock shifter with Steeda's Short Throw Tri-Ax Shifter.

Steeda Shifter
Mustang GT / V6 Steeda Tri-Ax Shifter (6 Speed Only) and also had Rear Shifter Bracket & Bushing (Steeda 7090) with knob of your choice. Installed by Extreme Performance. The difference is NIGHT & DAY. The Tri-Ax is tight, precise, firm. It’s head & shoulders above stock. I again would highly recommend this Shifter.

Tri-Ax Shifter
...well done..the difference is 'night-and-day': The factory shifter is clumsy, but the Tri-Ax is precise and clean, and I'd recommend it to anyone wanting something a LOT better at a more than reasonable price.
