Gives You Back Handling, Braking, and Control Over Your Haul
Even though the F150s are pretty capable at towing and hauling, massive loads cause all the usual problems with the 2004 to 2014 F150's suspension that can make dragging around your gear an absolute nightmare, even if you're not pushing beyond your truck's GVWR. Air Lift's LoadLifter 5000 system makes towing a breeze, if not downright enjoyable again by correcting basically all the problems with your 4WD F150's suspension that crop up when towing or hauling extremely heavy gear, trailers, fifth wheels, or toy haulers. The LoadLifter 5000 kit raises your truck's rear suspension back up to a proper, level ride height when under loads of up to 5000 pounds which gives your truck back more accurate handling, braking, and traction that it may otherwise lose when shuttling around all your toys and other hardware.
Levels Out Heavy Loads for Improved Handling
When you tow or haul, your rear suspension compresses as you add on weight. While your F150 doesn't have a problem actually pulling loads of 5000 pounds or more while tuned, your truck's rear suspension doesn't appreciate it. As it compresses it creates squat, which can cause your front tires to lose traction as load levels are increased. With less traction, your truck can suffer from sloppy steering, poor braking, and even a loss of control, especially in adverse weather conditions. The LoadLifter 5000 kit consists of a pair of air springs that you can easily inflate to bring your truck's rear end up to a level ride height to get back proper traction and handling to make towing much easier.
Tough, Durable Air Springs with High-Quality Hardware
The Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 kit consists of a pair of high-quality Air Springs that install fairly easily onto your truck. The springs have adjustable inflation levels to meet any load up to 5000lbs and can then be deflated down to 5psi when you're not towing or hauling. The Air Springs are each made out of heavy-duty rubber that's very similar to tire rubber.

Lifted Truck Note: If you're hauling heavy loads or pulling a trailer and have a lift kit installed, the rear of your truck can compress when dragged down by the extra weight which can affect your lift and cause issues with your suspension. Air Lift created a 4" Lock-N-Lift kit as well as a 6" Lock-N-Lift version that you can purchase separately. You must purchase the correct version to match up with your exact lift in order to avoid further suspension issues.
On-Board Air Compressor Options: If you're using this system for leveling out your truck while towing or hauling heavy or uneven loads, take a look at our selection of on-board air compressors (sold separately) in order to conveniently add air pressure wherever you are, without having to try to find the nearest gas station.
Winches & Recovery Systems: Anytime you're hauling a big load or using your truck for some off-road adventure that involves some unexpected weather, your best friend can come in the form of a winch or recovery rope and we have a great selection to choose from in our winches and recovery section. Each of these select options were designed to get your truck out of trouble or lend a helping hand to another vehicle that needs to get unstuck.
