Powerful Kooks Exhaust System with Lone Drone and Rasp

The supercharged 5.4L V8s under the hoods of the 2007 to 2010 Shelby GT500s love to breathe, even if they are only lightly modded, and a set of long tube headers and an accompanying shorty H-pipe are a great way to squeeze a ton of extra horsepower and torque out of your mighty Shelby. To keep your street ride as drone and rasp-free as possible, you'll need a catted system that doesn't choke your GT500 off from big power. That's where Kooks comes in with this awesome 1-3/4" Long Tube Header System that includes a high-flow catted H-pipe. This awesome package allows your GT500 to hit amazing levels of horsepower and torque without a ton of rasp or drone, while giving your Shelby a throaty, old-school sound. The combination of the long tube headers and the new H-pipe will allow your GT500 to hit your power goals and give your GT500 an aggressive new exhaust note, all without the drone and rasp of off-road long tube header systems.

Long Tube Headers with 1-3/4" Primary Tubes and a 3" Collector Assembly made from 304 Stainless Steel

Kooks' long tube headers are meticulously designed and crafted to provide vastly superior exhaust flow out of your GT500's engine, which greatly improves the engine's overall efficiency and reduces back pressure and inefficiency on your GT500's supercharger. Kooks' headers bolt on right in place of your GT500's factory exhaust manifolds and feature large 1-3/4" diameter primary tubes that are each mandrel-bent to ensure excellent levels of exhaust outflow over stock and greatly reduces back pressure. The primary tubes lead down into a 3" collector that allows for efficient merging of exhaust gasses before they're shuttled into the mid-pipe. Kooks' headers come standard with a thick mounting flange for your GT500s' heads and a ball flange for hooking into this system's included mid-pipe. Kooks' headers are made out of high-quality 304 stainless steel that resists both corrosion and discoloration in just about any climate or application.

Shorty Kooks H-Pipe Assembly with Kooks High-Flow Catalytic Converters

The H-pipe included in this package was specifically designed to fit with Kooks' long tube headers and help keep the gains made in the more efficient primaries and collector, all while keeping your GT500's drone and rasp fairly low. The Kooks high-flow catted H-Pipe included in this package is 3" in diameter and is all mandrel-bent to ensure smooth exhaust flow. The H-pipe features a true H-crossover to help equalize gas pressure and help give your GT500 a thundering, old-school muscle car sound. The H-pipe keeps drone and rasp down to a bare minimum through the use of a pair of Kooks high-flow catalytic converters. The Catted H-Pipe features a step-down outlet flange that allows you to reuse your factory cat-back and most aftermarket cat-back kits without modifications. Like the headers in this package, Kooks' H-Pipe is made out of high-quality 304 stainless steel.
