Add Rear Lift with No Hassles

Adding a bit or rear lift to your rear wheel drive F150 is a great idea when it comes to towing applications or to make your truck sit level when you throw on 2.5" to 3" front leveling kits. Pro Comp's 1.5" rear lift blocks add about an inch of rear lift to your 2004-2020 F150 with rear wheel drive, giving your truck roughly the same aggressive stance as four wheel drive F150s and is a great start to your very own, custom-built lift system. The blocks easily install right on to your truck's axle with no modifications.

worked out great, needed something 1/4 taller than the factory 1.25 blocks. Built very well and packaged nice. Read instructions and do one side at a time and it will go quick and easy.

2013 F150 FX2

2013 F150 FX2, 1.5 blocks, install took about 45 minutes, seems to be of good quality. With the front strut spacers, these raised the back up 2.

What is the overall height of these blocks? 3 inches total? So it would add 1.5 inches to the overall height

2wd F150 do not have any blocks from factory. This block is 1.5" thick, and will add 1.5" of ride height to a 2WD F150.

Will this fit a 2018 F150 Platinum 4x4? I want to remove the factory 1.25 and put this.

You technically could. However, I'm not sure how much difference it'll make. .25" of ride height likely won't make a huge difference on a solid axle/leaf-sprung setup. Your best bet would be to give us a call directly at 623-434-5277 so we can get more specific with what you're doing.

I had my broken leaf springs replaced with new ones with the extra leaf as it was same price. But I have noticed the truck looks pretty level or ever so slightly lower in back than front unloaded. it looks like for some reason they removed the OEM spacer to make it fit. What rear block kit would you recommend to maintain the factory look now that I have extra leaf?

It's tough to say, and will really depend on how much rake you currently have. This rear block kit is either .25" taller or the same height as the factory rear block on 4WD trucks (depending on your model year and submodel). I have a 2.5" procomp leveling kit + 1" rearblock on my 2015 F150 FX4 but I would still like a little bit more rear rake. I am worried that the 3" rear block would provide too much rake. Is there a disadvantage of stacking rear blocks? Would you recommend stacking the 1.5" rear block on top of the 1.25" factory block (Net= 2.75") or removing the factory block and going with the 3" rear block? Thank you.

We do not recommend stacking rear blocks since that setup is inherently unstable, not street-legal in all areas, and you will likely have to find your own U-bolts. This kit is only designed for use on RWD trucks that do not have a rear block at all from the factory. You're net gain in ride height from stacking this block would only be 1.5", and you would get a larger net lift out of a 3" block that replaces the factory 1.25" block (net 1.75"). Your much better option would be a 3" rear block kit or a 1.5" Add-a-Leaf Kit.

I have a 2015 F150 2WD extended cab with a 6 1/2' bed with a two piece drive shaft. Will this require a shim for the carrier bearing in the two piece drive shaft?

It will not. Basic rear lifts like this (and add-a-leaf kits) do not require carrier bearing modifications. Only if you end up in 4" lift kit territory, then a carrier bearing modification will be required.

Will these make any difference on my 2005 F150 2WD? I don't know my stock rear block height

2WD F150s usually don't have a rear block at all, and should get about 1.5" of lift from this kit. However, if your truck was previously owned, you may want to have a peek at your rear axle and check if you do have a block and what size, as it was a pretty common upgrade, even for fleet and work trucks.

I recently installed a front leveling kit on my 2015 Ford F 150 4x4 - it looks great until I hook up my trailer or put tools in the back bed because the rear sags - while installing the rear block kit provide greater stability and eliminate the sag? Thanks!

An aftermarket rear block can help, though you would need a 3" rear block on a 4WD F150 to gain any actual lift. If you are towing or hauling on a regular basis, you may want to look into getting an Add-a-Leaf Kit, which will provide lift, reduce sag, and increase hauling capacity by around 950lb. Your only real issue with either method is that you'll likely end up with at least some front rake again.

I have 3" AS rear block right now and need to go back to the stock rear height for my 09 F150 XLT 4wd to install the rough country 4" lift but can fine my old blocks. Can I use these in place of my stock blocks for a 4wd?

These blocks are actually 1/4" taller than the factory blocks and have a slightly different design, so I can't guarantee that they would work for what you're trying to do. Your better bet would be to hit up some of the more popular F150 forums for use OEM rear blocks from guys who've gone bigger. I'm sure someone would be willing to part with them for dirt cheap.

Your Raptor comes stock with a 1.5" rear block, making this kit kind of a waste of your time. To get more ride height out of your truck, you want to be looking at rear blocks that are 2" or taller. You can find all our rear blocks right here.

I have a 2013 fx4 with a 2'' autospring level in the front. The front now sits 1/4'' high. I am looking for a rear block that is taller than the factory 1.25''. Does this block measure out at 1.5''? If so that would put me completly level.

Yes, it would put you level, but it's not the route I'd recommend. Since your truck is fairly new, it's most likely that your front suspension just hasn't broken in/settled quite yet, depending on your truck's total mileage. If you're only talking a 1/4", it's most likely that your front suspension will settle that much over time, and if you add this block, you'll more than likely end up with some rake all over again.

I'd recommend giving it a few hundred (or even a full thousand) miles and then see where you're at. If you've already done all this and want some options, then give us a call directly at 1-877-578-2433.
