2011-2014 F150 3.5L EcoBoost K&N 57 Series Cold Air Intake 57-2583

I had trouble deciding between this intake and AFE stage 2, In the past I have always had K&N intakes and loved them and more people I talked to more I learned you can't even tell the difference between the two, and the K&N is a lot cheaper. You sure can hear it sucking and sounds good wakes the truck up for sure.

I have always been a fan of K&N intakes. This kit was easy to install and it took about a hour to install. I have had K&N intakes on previous vehicle and I have never had any problems. Just another great product from K&N.

I have always loved K&N products i always put there filters in my vehicles, so it was natural to buy this intake. Only took me 30 min to install. As soon as i hit the gas i can hear it sucking in air and I hear the Turbos more. better throttle response I didn't feel any lag as I did with the stock intake. Awesome intake, very easy to install with basic hand tools in about an hour. You can definitely hear the engine sucking the air in and the blow off valves purging the air back into the pipes. Adds more throttle response and a little increase in MPG. Very well built, quality product!

Overall it was a nice kit, but it was missing parts. My 2014 does not have the hose on the bottom of the intake, and there was no plug included. Had to run to the hardware store to get a plug, which was annoying but not a huge deal. The provided clamp would not fit over the rubber boot once it was installed on the pipe coming from the passenger side, I had to reuse the factory clamp. Other than that the install was easy. Makes a little more noise, looks cooler. Unsure if there are any actual gains from installing it.

At first I thought this wasn't going to do much buy I was surely wrong! At idle everything is the same with stock intake but once you get going it sounds like a jet! the turbo sound can be herd all the way to 3500-4000 rpm now. It does have a lot better throttle response and gets up and goes! For the price you can not go wrong with this intake!

The reviews I read before I bought this CAI were dead on. You can feel a slight difference in power, but you can really hear a massive difference in air flow. It's an incredible distinctive sound. Overall very good fit. I didn't have to trim, modify or relocate anything. Love the product. Make sure you couple it with an SCT tuner with Lifetime Tunes. Believe me.... It will make a world of difference in power range. Don't forget the blow off valves as well if you want people to know you're there.

Directions were pretty easy to follow. Only challenge was figuring out what sensor plate for the intake sensor on my truck. Definitely made an improvement in the pedal response with the faster turbo spool-up. Doesn't appear to improve gas mileage but it is winter here so mileage tends to get worse this time of year anyway. Oh yeah, it sounds good too...

Pros: Shipping was very fast. Quality of the product is very good. The intake noises are very loud, especially with a tune. Cons: Couplers were too small. Hose clamps were to small. All in all this a great intake for the price and I have really enjoyed the sound and power gains from it!

pretty much as i thought. i was suprized at a 1 mpg increase that i wasn't expecting. the sound is nice. i am wanting to hear it from the outside.

Great product, the intake will pay for itself with just the added mileage you will receive. I am getting around two miles per gallon better, plus the added performance and it sounds way better than factory intake.

So far a great product. Easy to install and averaging 2-2.5 more mpg. You can really hear the intake when you gas on it. Great service and fast shipping as always from stage 3.

30-45 min install time. Easy install. I can really hear the rush of air and turbo. Not getting any better gas mileage but a nice intake system

Install was easy but instructions were not very good. fits good and love the sound. some of the hose clamps didnt fit but i used the original ones.

I bought this intake and a UPR Mega Catch Can on Black Friday this past year. They have been in the box until today. I originally bought these because Im getting a tune in the future. My ecoboost has been bone stock for all 72,000. I had to change plugs for the first time today due to the Infamous Shudder, Misfire at High RPM and WOT, Power loss, Lag, and idle. Misfire was the last straw. This morning I put in some NGKs and the truck felt much smoother and all of the previous issues were noticeably improved. This afternoon I installed the Catch Can and this Intake and all of the previous problems we're 100% corrected. I highly recommend this intake for any of these issues I've experienced. Install is 30-45min for intake, catch can another 30-45min. The truck drives the way it should have been designed originally. I recommend you get both of these products together because this truck drives amazingly. The Intake lets your engine work easier and lag is eliminated. I know its dyno proven but i could care less. Just the way my truck has been rejuvenated is easily with the money. Power is the byproduct ***I advise you to pay CLOSE attention to the install of the EVAP Port Plug or Vent Fitting. I Assumed my truck had a EVAP line and preinstalled the Vent Fitting and forgot about it when I discovered I didn't have a EVAP Line. I got a check engine code when I started it up. I corrected the code by installing the plug on the intake. I also left the negative cable off for 35min total for a computer reset for good measure. Started it up and no code or light. Truck drives like a dream now***

Works as it should. Clamp from passenager side turbo inlet was to small. I called and they offered to send me a new one which did me no good considering that is one of the last steps. A little more turbo noise, no considerable gains.

Notice a small power gain, easy install, looks good, but doesn’t add the noise I thought it would.

Had my mechanic install it. From looking at the instructions it looked easy to install. You can hear the intake way more. I have the bov plug so its seemed to magnify the boost sound even more. Great intake.

This is a great intake for a lot less $$$ than the afe. You can hear the turbos much better and really hear the intake pulling air in. Overall fit and finish is pretty darn good. Took me 45 minutes from opening the box to firing the truck back up with the new cold air intake installed. My intake air temps are running about 5 degrees below factory. I didn't buy the intake for extra performance or mpg - so I have nothing to review in those areas. I simply bought it to hear the sound of the turbocharged engine better. It does a great job of that. Also, the K&N filter in this kit is HUGE. It fits great, but I've never seen a bigger conical style filter than this puppy. Looks great under the hood. With a canned performance tune on 91 octane I'm seeing 19-20 psi of boost. Maybe more once my custom tune arrives.

Thought I would save a few $$ and get this rather than a higher priced intake. Good quality, easy install. I can really hear the turbos. I am sure the mpg would increase if I could keep my foot out of it.
